For some reason my Kimchi Fifth Element had a very noticeable minty odor.

I wonder if the leather slip will scratch easily?

As did mine! Or perhaps menthol.

I thought it was because I'd bought it second hand. Something about the slip perhaps? I have the Full Slip A1.

As for this leather edition, I just hope it doesn't smell as bad as my Evil Dead "Book of the Dead." It still carries a bit of a plasticky smell after all these years. Manta looks to have gone with a superior faux leather, so hopefully that won't be an issue.

Today, we proudly present the first Leather Slip made by Manta Lab. We have mentioned about making a video to show leather slip to our customers but due to a technical difficulty, we couldn't make the video we wanted in short period of time. We are truly sorry for this. Instead, we have prepared a batch of photos to highlight our leather slip edition.

Borrowing from our website, please look below for the description of the Revenant leather slip edition.

"The first premium leather slip made by Manta Lab. This special edition is made out of high quality faux leather which changes color with application of heating to the surface. The Pyrography creates great debossing effect to the original artworks of "The Revenant". All leather slips have been assembled by skilled leather craftsmen. Multiple stitching on the spine of the slip to give extra details. Velvet covered inside for a subtle finish."

We had options to make the leather slip more luxurious but we wanted to stick to the theme of the movie and apply more weathered and rustic feel to the leather. As a result, we are quite happy with the sample we've received from the leather shop.

Since this is the first time our company introducing a product with new material, we have been getting enormous amount of inquiries and requests both locally and internationally. In order to fulfill the demand, we have decided to change the ratio of our total print run as below.

Leather Slips -> 800 Copies
Full Slips -> 500 Copies
Lenticular Slips -> 400 Copies.

We were very excited to see the sample come to our office and we hope that our customers feel the same way. As we always say, real products are much better than pictures. Also, with the other editions, we have put a lot of time and effort into making them. We hope our customers can support the other editions of this release as well.

Hell I'd even buy the box seperatly for previous one clicks like MOS and the Revenant, any thoughts? Could be Manta loyalty bonus of sorts.

I don't get why people keep going on about wanting the bear on the cover. The film isn't about a bear, the film is about Hugh Glass in which the bear features for about five minutes, if that, and already isn't on any of the other posters or anything, so it makes sense that the star playing the central character is going to be on the front of basically everything.

The leather slip looks amazing, absolutly the most unique thing I have seen since starting to collect a couple years ago. Very well done Manta! Stunning just stunning and very glad they have increased the print run so that others can get in on this too!

It is going towards the HDN GB. Why do you think it was increased in the first place? Have you seen the current waitlist on HDN.
