That's the exact problem that I have with them. The spine should either continue from the front image or the rear image. It's a very distracting design.

That's the way I've always known them to be too... don't think I've ever seen totally different images on the spines like this before, so it looks quite unusual. I imagine it won't be a problem once it's lined up amongst other editions on the shelf though, and may even look quite cool and stand out... I guess we'll soon find out!

You asked if it was a lenti and plastic on the back and I replied "pretty much". The steelbook is inside.

They were pretty restricted by the studio in terms of which artworks to use so they did the best they could with what was available.

I will join the ones who must see the movie yet, before deciding about pre-order. Never heard of this movie until Manta announced release.

All slips look pretty neat, but the PET Lenti slip would be probably the winner for me, If Im satisfied with a film of course.

It is the first Steelbook release for this movie which automatically makes it an interesting proposition in my opinion. The Steelbook itself looks very smart and the lenticular slip should really pop with the image Manta have chosen. It is a winner in my book.
