Word on the 007 website is that they have released these particular films because of their link to SPECTRE so they may not even do the rest of the collection. I also read a note earlier that the UK wont be getting QOS and Skyfall because because they had already been released!! I don't remember a blu ray QOS steel in the UK?.....

I have not seen a Quantum of Solace steelbook in the UK. I have ordered Casino Royale and have Skyfall, but not much point ordering Casino if you cannot get QOS. All a bit confusing not releasing the entire series.

Not sure what your wife will think a few weeks after release when these are half price. They have been panned on Twitter, Zavvi know they have a dud lol. Save your pennies dude till after release day to buy [emoji6]

I know what you mean, but when it comes to Bond, I just don't know if I can take the risk, don't think I'd forgive myself if they went oos, but then again, I'd feel a bit sick if they got reduced down to a tenner each.

I probably wouldn't have ordered them anyway, even if the artwork had been amazing. I'd have been interested in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, especially as Spectre will get a steelbook, but not with these designs.

I'm most disappointed that On Her Majesty's Secret Service won't get an amazing steelbook as that one I would have snapped-up day one, what with it being the best Bond movie no matter what anyone says. Unfortunately, the forthcoming version isn't the one for me.

Two never-before-seen featurettes are included with interviews from Bond writers Neal Purvis and Robert Wade. “The Shadow of SPECTRE” will recount the fictional history of the global criminal syndicate and terrorist organization, “The Story So Far” will provide an overview of Daniel Craig’s first three Bond movies.
Six films featuring the SPECTRE organization (FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE, THUNDERBALL, YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE, ON HER MAJESTY’S SECRET SERVICE, DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER, FOR YOUR EYES ONLY) and the three recent Daniel Craig titles (CASINO ROYALE, QUANTUM OF SOLACE, SKYFALL) will each get a limited edition Blu-ray Steelbook release, their cover designs inspired by each film’s opening title sequence. In the UK there will be seven new Steelbooks as QUANTUM OF SOLACE and SKYFALL have previously been released in this format.
Or Bond fans can choose from Actor Packs on Blu-ray and DVD, with newly-designed packaging.
Finally, The Ultimate James Bond Collection will feature all 23 Bond films to date, together in a Blu-ray box-set. The package includes a 24th space for SPECTRE and, for the first time, digital copies of the collection will be included, (UK & US only).
Also included in The Ultimate James Bond Collection is a new bonus disc with the full 90-minute documentary “Everything or Nothing,” further bonus materials, and a pocket-sized book featuring the best posters from DR. NO to SPECTRE.

I've just read that on the official website, and it reads to me that they may not release the other titles in the series, because of its ties to Spectre. From that point of view I can see their point, but for us fans on the entire Bond series, it would be nice to give us a hint at least that they will do the titles in this design, otherwise, it's going to put a lot of people off from pre-ordering these, as good or as bad as they may look, depending on your taste.

For me, I don't mind double/triple/quadruple dipping in these films, but please, don't have us spend our money on these first set of titles, it you have not intention of releasing the others too. As for the Skyfall issue... We know the UK have had a release previously, but not a design matching these... Surely you can see that, the fans want matching designs in their collections. And for Quantum Of Solace, as far as I know, I've never seen a steelbook release in the past!

I was all set to pre-order these new steelbooks, but not if they're not doing the entire series (UK reissue of Skyfall too). Like I said, it seems a good idea to promote the new film, Spectre, but would like to see all titles please.

This might be a good opportunity for me to start my James Bond collection! Shame I cannot afford it at present
Would be interesting to see the finished product and it would have been better for them to release fortnightly or monthly.

Quantum of Solace has never had a UK Blu-ray Steelbook release before

Nobody wants Sauntum of Qolace. Even the writers just wanted to desert the story and start anew with Skyfall, like the previous movie had never happened

Yeah if they are doing Steelbooks for just films featuring Spectre I'm guessing they or someone else could introduce the films again separately in the future.
