Im assuming the other Bond films will be released eventually as a steelbook as well? Im only interested in the Daniel Craig films and have pre-ordered Casino Royal and already own the Skyfall steelbook that was released, so just need Quantum of Solace.

Oh no, I got a bit excited, then I looked at the artwork, In a way I'm glad I did not start collecting James Bond steelbooks, you have the other efforts and then you have these that are vastly different.

The artwork on these steelbooks is very plain looking, I'm not impressed with the title sequences being used on the steelbooks, the back is too bare apart from the one release and the inside is lackluster as well, can't they put 007 in the center at least, why is it cropped like that, why use the same artwork inside on all of them?

I would not call this a creative effort or deem this worthy of James Bond, simply put they look cheap and disappointing, If you can't design and produce the artwork that these movies and steelbooks deserve, then use posters and existing resources.

Movie artwork they could have gone with for just two Bond movies.

Yeah, 2000 each for zavvi. What about all the Amazons and Mediamarkt and BestBuy?
I'm guessing it's at least 8000k of each.

All other countries that have announced this 007 wave so far have 9 steelbooks but the UK is only 7 steelbooks

We need in the UK Skyfall and Quantum of Solace so customers have the full set of the 007 wave

Is it possible that someone else has gotten exclusivity over the remaining two?

£16.99 sounds fine then when we times it by every bond film ever made:

16.99 x 23 = £390.77

Considering you can get a lovely bond 50 box set for A lot less, it is very understandable why some will view it to much.

And me personally I can't stand getting select films in general when there is a set of films. So I wouldn't be able to limit myself to onlyfavourites

Normally I don't agree with the use of poster as artwork for steelbook, but especially for the old James Bond movies, they should have used those beautiful hand drawn classic posters.

I already have my 22-film collection box set, so I wouldn't get these anyway.
