Yeah it was a steelbook for New Moon from Best Buy as their exclusive edition. So hopefully it will be a steelbook as well for Eclipse. At least I am hope it is.

I don't mean to come across sounding dumb but what is the difference in size of the G-1 and G-2. I know the US steelbook of New Moon was a little taller than the one from Canada.
And what is a Quersteelbook?

G2- Is Blu-Ray size SteelBook
Quersteelbook - Is a flipper stlye SteelBook (Both artworks on both sides, and side ways).

Kali has shared what the sizes mean. A "Quersteelbook" is actually a "Horizontal" steelbook (sideways), which is what "quer" means in German. Examples are the German Steels like The Hulk, The Grinch,etc scheduled for release soon. Hope that helps...

That was what I had figured about the quersteelbook.
I just don't understand why the US don't do more steelbooks. I like them a lot better than the plastic cases. I guess the steelbooks eats too much into the profit here in the US.

No clue. By looking at how many New Moons are still in stock, its possible they dont want that happening again. Your guess is as good as mine, either "Hurt Locker" limited or 6k,8k etc. *shrug*

I like the DVD sized steelbooks. I just don't care for the smaller ones.

Just a small note - Your description of a Quersteelbook is not totally correct. You state on BOth sides is the artwork , that is not ALWAYS the fact.
