Anyone get any word on the GC debacle? I've been back and forth by email with Future Shop and they're being veryevasive. I have my ISPU order on hold in the store waiting to be picked up, but I want to make sure I get the deal for the GC that was advertised.

Some stores might give you the card just to get rid of you but most won't because the deal is not in "the system". If you email customer service they MIGHT give you $10 off your next online order, no guarantee though.

I apologize for even posting the image Even though it's Futureshop's fault... I hate it that people (myself included) wasted valuable time dealing with this, only to come up short.

It still is a very nice steelbook. Worth getting even if you dont receive a gift card.

I ended up going to pickup my ISPU for Act of Valor yesterday and they have rescinded the over. HOWEVER, they were kind enough to give me the $10 off price adjustment for my troubles.

Yeah the CS rep refunded me $10 as well so if you fight for it you can get the $10.

I think both. Mostly just a limited release IMO. When I went into store they usually have 20-30 steels out there each for new release... they barely had 10-12 of these. Same story with John Carter, Blow, Piranha, Kick Ass and Limitless.

My guess all of those above were only a 4000 copy print run. Could be wrong though.

quite possible. JC and AoV seem like a 4000 run for sure but who knows. Im not even sure the 4000 run minimum even applies to Viva's so JC could be something else entirely.

Never seen the movie but I did a blind buy for this one at FS.

I noticed every steelbook of it had a push 'pop' feel in front including the one I bought.
