I dont know how long I will do this, or if people have questions ... but I'll check this thread daily in case people have questions about steelbooks etc. I'll try to answer to the best of my ability from what I am allowed to say in some cases or just info you may not have seen me drop before in past threads.

Why can't all releases use the clear round stickers to hold the paper backing on, instead of the messy glue.

The stickers are MUCH easier to remove, imo.

I assume the glue is cheaper?

Hi Wreck, can you give us some detail on how market sellers like LightningDiscs get so many copies and can then undercut Play on their own Exclusives?

Why even bother with stickers? Some Steelbooks are just sealed with the J-cards loose. If they do have to use something though, I agree that the little sticky tape tabs are the best way to go.

Hi Wreck, sorry if the question has been asked before. What's happening with Hulk (Edward Norton) play exclusive? Is turning in stock/oos, is near to be oos definetely?

Looks like there was another print run of Incredible Hulk.

There are few things that bother me:

1. Matte finish

2. Lack of QC

3. Missing bonus / extras disc. This is criminal.

Just a thought. Any chance you can put this (and all others titles in stock) in the first post please mate and then update whenever you get info from Play?

Having looked through the thread it will help out all members including myself and will save you having to answer questions about how many copies of XXX left.

I personally haven't ordered a few titles that are still in stock due to other commitments purchase wise, but also don't want to miss out on some.

I'm sure other members would appreciate this too.

The Incredible Hulk BD never had an additional disc of bonus features and i had the aramay edition from release date up until June this year

My only question to Wreck would be how many catalog titles are play.com planning to give the steelbook treatment in 2013?

No one knows, not even Play ... they could say 50 but who knows what if it turns into 100 or 10 etc. Things gotta go through approvals. The idea is surely to release as much as possible given the amount they try for ... but things get delayed etc. so who knows. I think I know of like 15 titles that they are trying to do but have also been trying to do for like months now. Some great titles that I hope can get announced soon.

I know the print run, collectively. I suspect based on that # that none of these will be rare. Tho I'm sure the catalog releases have a much smaller qty then say Legacy. (for those who are new, I'm not allowed to say the # that's why I didn't. Maybe one day...)

BD: 10,000 BC & Clash of the titans German (my fav)
DVD: I really dont know all these, but I do know that National Treasure 2 got one and its amazing looking. I got one...

Thank you for the reply, Wreck. I too hope we get some cool announcements soon. Since Lawless, Play.com has been very quiet on that front (compared to HMV, who have made quite a few).

I don't know if you're allowed to say or not but what's the print run on the Warner premium steels in the UK?
I'm guessing tens of thousands but I know nothing of such things.

I think UK generally does less #s then USA. I know of a certain big release that was x3 of what the UK got.
