I dont know how long I will do this, or if people have questions ... but I'll check this thread daily in case people have questions about steelbooks etc. I'll try to answer to the best of my ability from what I am allowed to say in some cases or just info you may not have seen me drop before in past threads.

I havent heard anything, but surely it will get a BD steel at some point .... so im patiently waiting like you mate.

Hi Wreck, any chance of someone releasing an Olympus Has Fallen steelbook other than France? Their translated title is terrible, and it did fairly well in the UK box office.

Trying to find out, but one contact is away on vacay.

I know the stuff that comes up with like less than 100 stock (mostly namely stuff ES sells) is most likely stuff from studio warehouse. I've been told that on most runs of 4k they can make you take 4.1k in case of damages etc. So none of those small #s surprise me.

Commando is gone pretty much, cancelations will be sold this Sunday

Black Swan – Under 1000 left

Town and Argo sold through over 2000 on each

Next to sell out will be Rocketeer, Tron and Dick Tracy if they keep up the pace they are moving.

There is still hope for Place Beyond the Pines and Evil Dead for the UK ..... Hopefully I can post the full good news later. fyi

Hey Wreck.

Someone on the HMV Exclusive Good Day to Die Hard Thread said that this was limited to 2000 copies. Have you heard if this is correct? I was gonna hold off buying it but if it's true then I gotta make sure get one before they're all gone.

probably ... I dont know about time frame but I know a couple titles on the upcomig radar ... one is a title that has no bd steel release and has been requested for a very long time. :LOL:

Hi Wreck,

Was told today that hmv will be relaunching their website in the next few weeks due to final supplier deals being completed.

One of the final deals was with Studio Canal. That brings with it exclusive steelbooks in the form of Evil Dead 2013 and Place beyond the Pines.

Can you comment on any of that please?
