I had the same problem choosing between Type A and Type B! I'd say go for the full slip... I don't like the look of Iron Man without the helmet on the lenti, it looks very edited.
I hadn't even considered that. I've been against this release since the artwork and versions have been announced. I have the first four NE in full slips, so I was going to go that route. Then they announced that the characters were going to be separated. Buying one will feel incomplete for me and I can't even decide between A and B and there's no way I'm going for all three with hopefully the inevitable blufans release. Didn't like Cap's positioning in the lenti, but was finally going to give in and try going for that so that I could at least continue my NE collection. Now that you pointed out Iron Man, I just can't justify spending my money on this release when there are so many things with it that I don't like. May give in in the final seconds just to see if I can actually get through and get a copy, but if I miss out, I won't feel too disappointed.

Hey @Ben Hollick it's hard for me to answer as I am not involved in the "behind the scenes" with this group buy. But since there are a few moving parts that may be outside of MB's control (but I don't know), I would say it would be "worse" for you if you missed it by not trying to order direct. If you are an Avengers fan, you may kick yourself later-worst case-should you end up getting one via MB in the end, and one via Nova, you have one (or multiple versions) to trade or sell. If you decide to drop out of group buy and try to order direct and you can't, because website crashes, or you just miss it due to overwhelming popularity, then you may be upset. It's an individual decision.

Hi my fellow collectors,

i know you have been awaiting patiently , i am not yet sure of the amounts that will be allocated so i would in all Fairness suggest if you can order yourself to do so. This GB was meant to help only those who could not order directly from the Retailer.

I will post again tomorrow morning , hopefully with more Information.

Like i said though for those who can order themselves please do so.

Take care
John

Don't let what I said put you off! I like the Captain America full slip but I've never been a massive CA fan so I'm going to go for the Iron Man version (even though Iron Man is doing the same pose on the slip as he is on the steelbook, just flipped the other way). I know what you mean about it being incomplete but then the steelbook image itself ties them altogether. You might as well try for one so that you don't get annoyed after knowing that you didn't try. To be fair they're all pretty nice... Even the one with Hawkeye!

Alternatively allow those who are not in the groupbuy a chance and take the risk on whether or not you have a copy in the group buy considering that is the route you chose. Everyone should have a limit to only 1. That is only fair with a print run as low as this when the demand is so high.

@Ben Hollick Oh, no. You weren't putting me off. I was already feeling this way. You just added an extra bullet point as to why I shouldn't be going for this, haha. I do agree that the steel is nice, but I happen to be a sealed steelbook collector. I would've even forgone my NE full slip completionist if the image of the lenti would've been of one of those lenti inserts. As mentioned, I'll probably end up trying to go for one just for the rush of trying to get one, but if I miss out on this, I won't be disappointed as I don't have any of the Nova Marvel steels.

This is simply a ridiculous state of affairs, Novamedia need to get the GB info tied down NOW, or pull the plug on all GB's to let everyone know EXACTLY where we all stand.

Now if it wasn't bad enough for all those who will be trying to buy direct, all GB lottery buyers are being advised to bundle in and try direct as well. Well, good luck to all those (including me) who will be eagerly logging on to Novas site on Friday, I now have almost no hope of getting a 1-click, but hey I have to try. Hope I don't meet Magneto again.

Not at all- Considering none of us know if we've made the GB or not, it would be completely naive to sit and wait as opposed to actively buying it (if the opportunity arises)
If the GB quantities/list was confirmed, then fine. But it's not...
Isn't that the reason to join the GB is to secure your copy so that you can sit and wait when others fighting for it?

Which is why the GB should be cancelled NOW, so we all know that we have a more than equal chance of getting one direct as the GB copies would be put back on the novamedia site.
