Dude- Stop being so negative. We know just how damned difficult it will be to secure a copy tomorrow, GB or not.
The purpose of the GB is to take some of the stress away from trying to secure a copy directly from Nova (which we know will end up being like gold dust)
It's a case of damned if they do, damned if they don't with some people- Masterblaster/John is trying to provide members on here a service end of the day; I'd much rather see a mix up with double ordering via GBs and allowing ninjas to be honest enough to settle it between themselves than to see the copies snapped up direct from Nova by scalpers to sell on via eBay.

Well you have your views. I would rather see all copies available for open competition with everyone undergoing the same "stress".
Oh and if you are not aware already some of those scalpers you refer to are your fellow ninjas.

Well, who's to say that tomorrow's open buy on Nova isn't limited to one copy per person??
That's no more fair than an open GB on here, as that leaves opportunities for scalpers to buy one and sell one.

i agree. ALL copies should be avaible at pre order time.

i honestly believe group buys shouldnt be allowed by the big 3 in korea. if you cant make the pre order time to get your copy, too bad! its not fair that most of us will be online fighting for a copy at pre order time while others are just writing there name down and get guaranteed a copy. if you want something bad enough you will make time for it.

group buys for lets say, mondo best buy canada are DIFFERENT as they dont ship to anywhere outside canada so a group buy is needed BUT novamedia ships to nearly every country around the world. there is no excuse for not ordering from nova direct. if you cant make it at pre order time get a friend or family member to do it!!!

The counter argument for that would be that there's always ample time for people to get their name put on a GB list. And to put it in your words; If you don't get onto the GB in time, too bad!

Well, 'some of our people' are not saying that GB is a bad thing in general. Personally speaking, I never joined any GB whatsoever, but I absolutely appreciate and respect those GB hosts and their service. I am just saying that this GB should really cancelled since there were no confirmations. It would simply add more stress on us not the other way around. I was referring to this specific GB on the Nova's Avengers and that's why we should discuss it here not at the Nova thread.

It's not secured till you have completed checkout fully.

Once payment is complete only ~ if you were to select 1-click option and during payment procedure if it becomes suddenly unavailable you won't be able to continue payment. Only once payment is completed your order is secured

hey folks, I think it's very clear that Nova has left MB in quite the spot here. I followed up on my own over a day ago and have received no response as well from my inquiry.

at this point, we all have to assume there will be no copies for the group buy listed on this forum, other forums, or wherever.

every member is on their own.

and nova would have to set aside copies ahead of time, in order to NOT oversell the quantity. they have never EVER reserved copies after a store listing went live on their end. that's how Magento works in it's stock allocation.

so, it's not much of a leap to assume that everyone will have the same, fair, and probably PANIC filled shot at their desired copies of Avengers tomorrow AM (except, perhaps, those actual ebay resellers that may have offered more funds to secure their copies).

this is not a productive discussion. if you are here to post more comments to stir the pot against group buys, masterblaster or the rest, just move along please.

I still not made my decision if I want Full Slip A or Full Slip B
I like Full Slips lot more than a lenti so I will only go for a lenti if I fail to complete an order for a full slip

Before 12 tomorrow I'm going to have to decide its A or B and stick with my decision and at speed attempt to complete an order
This is going to be mad tomorrow and even more so as I will be up nearly 24 hours by live time

If I get an order in tomorrow I wont be saying what I got until later that night as as soon as I'm finished its off to sleep

Some of us will be happy later today and some won't that's the nature of a high demand release
In my opinion they should have gone with 10,000 as it would of still sold out due to been avengers and made life easier on customers and themselves
