i think I already know what will happen if it does. It's been a long time since Avatar debuted in theatres and ticket prices were lower then.

I'm positive that Avatar will be re-released in theatres in 3D and IMAX and all that stuff before the first sequel comes out.
That will probably add an extra $100 million easy to Avatar's total. Actually I wouldn't be surprised if it pulls in that much in the first week or weekend.

Personally I hated Avatar and I refuse to watch any of the sequels. I also hate the fact that it has robbed us of any other new movies directed by James Cameron since then. Maybe he had nothing left anyway. I don't know.

Hmm I hadn't considered that. A friend of mine made a similar point some weeks ago though... not only were ticket prices cheaper, but Avatar was being hyped for it's new ground-breaking 3D tech which had a lot of people excited to check out. Not only that, but it was apparently in cinemas for 9 months?!

I just came back from this again, this was my second viewing, my daughter's first time. You know how they say the second time you pickup on things you missed the first time around. Was Clint on house arrest for something? He had a Anklet on and was just curious. Did the Avengers put him on house arrest? The last I remembered he left on his own accord to start a family...

EDIT: Nevermind, I forgot that Scott was on house arrest in Ant-Man 2 for going against the government so it makes sense that the same would probably happen to Clint as well.
