Those pics certainly doing the rounds .. . having started in Post #305 here at HDN before travelling to Steelbookpro in France . . . and finally ending up back home at HDN in Post #379.
Haha, sorry mate. I didn't know there were already live pics posted before the unwrapping Youtube video.

For those in the UK who were unable to cancel their original Zoom orders placed at full price: Just spoke to Zoom CS and they said they will send free RMA label. Also they laughed when I asked them if they were flooded with orders over the weekend.
Haha good to see they have a sense of humour about it... apparently that 25% off code was only meant for a select number of people who had issues with a recent order, but then it got shared on forums and people went crazy with it (myself included :bag:). I kinda feel bad for Zoom though to be honest, since they already have a lot of good deals on their site, plus they still allow us to use the 10% code on most orders. Kudos to them for honouring all these weekend orders anyway. :notworthy:

Yes. It appeared in HUKD which means it spread like wildfire and I am sure they received 1000s of orders mainly the UHD player bundle and the UHD Blu-rays. I ordered 14 UHD Blu-rays at 11 a piece. Not bad at all. :)

Oh man, I forgot about that UHD player! Probably would've gone for that as an Xmas present for someone... oh well.

Haha nice! I picked up a few Criterions at £9 a piece, as the code stacked with their current 2 for £25 offer. Then I also picked up the Universal Monsters set and a steelbook. :D

I was thinking about the 4K player...I would have sold the disc bundle making the player effectively around the £100 mark. Decided not to as my 8+ year old player + TV are still going strong...Not going to replace unless broken

The 4K UHD players are dropping in price fast especially if you don't mind a second hand machine. I got one (Panasonic UB 700) from eBay for 127. It was in nearly new condition as stated. The same seller is selling the Samsung player for 88 delivered. At least he is not scalping like me. :naughty:

I am going to put the 4K UHD disc inside this Steelbook.

Just received another email from Zoom- they currently have a 4-5 day delay in dispatching orders . But they are upgrading postage to Royal Mail first class (so should be next day delivery)

Received today and apart from the lovely pink colour nothing special at all.
As for the spot gloss on the artwork - if it's really there (lol) - it's a really, really thin coat and you'll need to be a contortionist to find an angle where the light hits the artwork to spot it.
Maybe that's why they call it spot gloss . . . because it's damnably hard to spot :(
