Yeah, I don't expect it will be too low a number if the release is trade wide. I'll take a stab at tens of thousands but would love to be proved wrong.

Here's to getting #1 anyway if it is numbered

I wouldn't get excited about this just because they say it's numbered, that Harry Potter limited edition set also was numbered, but the result? Plain, lame looking sticker attached to the spine of the box.

I know they won't be putting stickers on Steelbooks (but who knows?) but I wouldn't get my hopes up for anything special...

I was told it was too early to tell about embossing/debossing fyi .... currently trying to find out if its jumbo or it has a new inlay to fit 5 discs.

you know what would have been cool.... is no writing on the front cover and just the bat logo enlarged and then have it debossed. <<< Now that would have sold like hot cakes IMO. On the back have a picture of just the batmobile enlarged taking up most of the space and maybe add a little bit of bling effect to it. Now that would be a steel book I would be willing to go in and double dip for. Im sure others would too.

Hard to get excited about this one when you know all the value will drop from it when the trilogy set is released. It seems an obvious cash-in off the back of the 3rd movie's release.

a clean back with internal artwork might tempt some people who aleady own the french edition, although that probably wouldn't be enough for me, personally.
the french edition is still one of my favourite steelbooks, so this one would have to go the extra mile to top it, in my opinion.

Numbered could be interesting but could also mean nothing, heard that so many times before and we got tons of them or an ugly sticker instead a proper certificate, will wait to see proper pictures before I even think about placing an order.

by now, most people already own the movie already....they are only buying it for the look of the case. and for many Batman fans, they are buying it just because...they are a fan.

What's the point in buying this when you could wait for the steelbook trilogy release?
