I was under the impression that it was to include the extended cut, however, unsure how they would sell it if the extended cut is an 18 cert???

Knowing what film companies are like, it'll come out as 2 different editions...... extended/harder cut,18 cert somewhere down the line! As I said in earlier post, not sure if they could sell 2 different versions of the film on 1 edition if they are 2 different ratings. No doubt it's all about maximising profits!!!!

You can have as many different versions as you like in a package, it's just the highest rating that's taken into account.

There's no way it'll be an 18 when the time comes. It'll be a 15 at best. A US R rating doesn't always equate to an 18, usually just a 15. Has the R rated version even been announced? It could simply be 'unrated' which could mean anything. It could still have been a PG-13 but simply hasn't been rated as such. You can bet that when it comes out here Batman: The Killing Joke will be a 15 despite the US's R rating.

I suspect the extended cut is only 2D, that's be the case in most other examples

Is it 2 types steelbook? Because, the spine is not changed.

I'd imagine its just the Batman image on the back, Superman image on the front as opposed to the art being "reversible". The spine being the same forwards & backwards is whats throwing me though, curious to see how that will work.
