yeh but also many Amazon just cancelled by themselves, when clearly they didn't need to.
Anyone who only had Amazon order then probably went and bought it from elsewhere like Ebay for more.

I don't disagree. Amazon are the pits right now. I've had three blind cancellations from them in the last two months.

Awful. I do wonder if this type of thing is stretching beyond physical media with Amazon They are falling apart. Did anyone even get one on the "restock"...

Lots of people will have. It was in stock for hours yesterday, probably nearing on half a day.

Mine wasn't shipped out yet either, I've contacted them about an address change, and they've sent a new invoice today, so they're still mailing them out.

Oh sure, I'm not worried they will eventually come through but it's been a bit disappointing. From the confirmation of questionable finishes, none of the promos Vice offered working (think it was free shipping and a discount for new or newsletter sign ups), having to wait 4 months for the order and then them still managing to miss the release date by over a week (getting closer to two weeks now).

I only really need a couple of titles missing from my collection, I would have been happier getting them with the HMV discount but the only one I did manage to get from HMV had a lovely spine slash, so much for that idea. I feel like I should just cancel and get my money back, can just pay extra for the couple of titles I want, it'll still be cheaper than from Vice but I think that's just me looking to vent a little. I know it's not a big deal but I can't help feel disappointed which is a pity when I was excited for these releases.

Same here, and i got excuses in reply, they are terrible. They should just apologise, not counter it. They get them before release date and have shipped them to that effect to others.
As they are limited its really not a lot of orders, that have been on order for months at this point.
Smaller outfits i use than these ship out thousands of items that arrive before or on release.

They pretty much have a disclaimer saying within 10 working days after release to dispatch,

Also Vice press won't allow promo codes for pre-orders of this kind, and if you order two things together they won't ship them out seperate, so they can save on postage cost.
I'm also in the same boat as HMV, 50% of my recent orders have had spine splash, someone seems to be having a field day (this includes half of all film vault, jaws 3 ,jaws 4, atomic blonde etc
