Well I ordered Spiderman trilogy last Monday so expecting it in any day now. Will post pics of that packaging when it gets here.

At last after many months of fighting with Zavvi for replacements and sending the same messages about their poor packaging they finally bring back decent protective packaging.
I think the replacements were costing them a lot of money and the amount of complaints that they were getting and that why they have resorted back to the old packaging.

lol yes, Hunchback even had two pieces! They must've been feeling a bit generous that day.
They're all mint but thats because i live near a royal mail centre so they don't have to go far.
Just had Anchorman (one sheet of loo roll) and Mulan (two sheets) delivered in the cardboard envelopes... Luckily all arrived in perfect nick.
My order came in an A1 mailer too and I don't think it came with any commemorative toilet roll either. :jawdrop:
I ordered Mulan, Hercules and Iron Man 3 and they arrived in these thin cardboard packaging with 2 of the 3 having dints in them. Luckily, Zavvi were so kind to offer me a 30% refund or to send them back at my own expense!
Why oh why can another company not get the rights to release these in the UK?
I'd of refused and told them point blank I'll be sending them back at their expense! Don't send me defective goods and expect me to accept them.
My Uknown Steelbook turned up, in the dreaded A1 mailer, no damage done this time, looks like Zavvi are being slow to change over to the better packaging. 
Well it's weird i received 30 days of night yesterday in white box, same as my previous orders. When they stopped using those boxes?Cause every order I had in the past I had in white box, the last being around May 2014

I don't know that I would say "no protection" exactly.
It gives at least a little bit more than the previous mailers did. Here's a great example;
Thanks to Royal mail, which evidently believe Japan is just a city in Canada, my Hunchback of Notre Dame went on a worldwide excursion!
Just arrived today and is perfectly mint. I am 99% certain that would not have been the case in the previous mailer. So, while I certainly agree they can do MUCH better, I wouldn't say they offer no protection at all.
