The title is a reference to the theme song, which is meant to convey irony with its cheerful Caribbean rhythms contrasting with the bleak, dystopian world presented in the film.

The director is a former Pythoner, and the film is in that vein, but much darker. Picture George Orwell meets Looney Tunes and you'll be close.

The finish is almost satin like again. There is a sheen to it. Its like one layer of gloss so satin finish sounds about right. Its more shinier than a matte finish.

dude, as a collector of films you should be ashamed of yourself for not knowing about this film, even the making of this film and the problems Gilliam had with the studios are epic, if you in anyway love films, give it a go, if you like anything with Jason Statham in, don't bother

Yeah, what a shame that makers of collectible packaging are catering to collectors of cult classic films! By the way, the film has 124,333 votes on IMDb. Not exactly obscure.

And why would you be disappointed with a film you've never seen that has a 98% on Rotten Tomatoes, avg. rating of 8.7? Wouldn't you be interested in seeing it for the first time?

I'm not even that big a fan of the film, but this just struck me as a stupid thing to say.

Amazing steelbook, really!
Beautiful design, perfect simple and focused finish and a short color palette with that wonderful metallic shine pink. Stunning.
Plus it's a masterpiece.
