touche ... I skipped over that BB comment simply because I thought someone had posted a valid link. I cant keep up with all the hundreds of steels we hear about or those that I know about ... I know of 20+ titles coming to the UK a lone ... so yeah.

i'm kind of new to the steelbook craze. is it pretty much standard that stores list dvd and blu releases while holding off on steelbooks?

if that is the case, wouldnt that mean that best buy is just as good a bet at having the django unchained steel as walmart or target?

it's just crazy to me that a store would hold back on that information. i'd think if they released that info with preorder ops, they'd see how it's going to sell like fire and respond accordingly by trying to add more to have a higher gross margin percentage.

just curious.

I can't speak for BB but in cases like Walmart, their ads have never been about movie sales unless it's Christmas time. Compared to its consumable business, movies are just an afterthought.

The release date is still 27 days out so expect some news in about a week and a half to two weeks.
