BestBuy.com now shows two different Blu-ray versions of Django Unchained.

Here's the original one, priced at $29.99 and no release date listed:

Neither of them mention anything about being "exclusive" or "steelbook." What do you guys think?

It looks like both pre-order pages have suddenly been removed. And I also received an email from Best Buy indicating that the release date has changed to December 26. So it looks like Best Buy is in the process of updating/finalizing their plans for the Django Unchained release.

Anyone know how to decipher these?

My order wasn't canceled, but they changed my order from the version that said "PRESELL" to the one that is now available on BestBuy.com. I still don't think this steelbook is happening. I really think Best Buy would have announced it by now.

From what I have gathered ... FutureShop and Best Buy USA will have same art.

we will see if future shop and best buy artwork will be same or not sooner or later but best buy don't mention django unchained is steelbook or not. it's very confused.

Hey Choi-welcome to the site. It's over a month away, so we will have to wait and see Best Buy has been known to wait until the very last minute to publicize Steelbooks. They are getting slightly better with the naming convention on the site, but for many years, it was not always clear which was the Steelbook and which the Amaray, because emphasis was not put on marketing, and naming them correctly. Those things are slowly changing, however with some dedicated displays, and mention in ads, etc..

Hey guys-just FYI-as Wreck mentioned initially in the FS thread for this title (see OP in this thread for a link to his comment), this Steel is to be available in Canada and the US with the same artwork, at this time. If this changes again, we will post any updates we are able to post. Thanks!
