I'm glad I didn't pre order the PET slips, I've never really been a a big fan of them after ZDT PA. Maybe an experiment from Nova? I bet they wont be in a hurry to produce more for future releases. Please Nova stick to Full & Lentis after all you are the best at them.

Glad I ordered the Lenti along with my pet slip red edition. Received my Lenti yesterday which just looks awesome but waiting on my pet slip red edition know to turn up I hope it lives up to my expectations.

I don't really understand all the negativity towards the PET slip... it's pretty much exactly what I expected after seeing the photos we were shown. My only minor complaint would be that it's quite loose, but then some of the previous slips have been too tight and I struggle to get the steelbook out, so I'd rather have it loose than tight (oo-er ). If it bothers you that much though, then you can always put the booklet in next to the steelbook (rather than inside the steelbook) to help pad it out a bit. I think it looks great overall! I'm even tempted to get the red PET slip now too.

P.S. Excellent packaging (loooooads of bubble wrap) from Nova as always.

I have just seen the PET & Lenti slip in hand, my good mate has just popped round with his copy, and I really dislike the skinny looking PET slip it just doesn't sit right with me, very little going on other than slight embossing on the body of Dredd. Compared to previous Nova releases this is a total let down other than the the Lenti which is cool.

This all so very true. In those novamedia pictures, the pet slip looks like thick package, something like PA I Saw The Devil, but it's not. Thankfully lenti is awesome with great depth. Nova it truly remarkable doing these lenticulars.

Pleased with the overall package but yeah the PET is way too loose. Going to stick it in a protective sleeve of course but it sucks that without something holding the sides together (while the steel is inside) that it hangs open like it's made out of jelly. Nova need to make their plastic work out to get firm like PA's if they're gonna do anymore PET releases in future.

Is the red PET slip on a level anywhere near to the ISTD PET slip? It looks like it doesn't have much red on it. Also, what is the texture like? Similar to ISTD?

While I understand the dislike towards the two PET slips I on the other hand like the simplicity of the slips and of course the Lenti another great job by Nova.

I managed to fix the looseness of my black slip, so I'm a lot happier with it now.

If anyone else wants to tighten it up, use your thumbs to bend it back in next to the closed edges. Now mine is warped inwards rather than outwards, and the steelbook straightens it out when it's inside.

The texture is nice. Just too slim package to my taste as I was expecting PA style. The red colour ain't good on the front, backside is better. Overall it's way too dark. Dredd seems to disappear in both pet slips. To me, it's not worth 40$, but lenticular is awesome.
