I did a run through with 2 steels with EMS ship and the ship price was $33. This is a heavier box with 3 steels that lists at $109. It's gotta be at $150 or over.

I decided to go for the full slip. Like I've said, this is my second favourite film of all time, so I'm quite excited for this release... though it still drives me nuts that the best artwork appears on the tri-pack box.

I feel exactly the same dude... the tripack has the best artwork, but there's no way I'm paying that price and I've no need for three of the same steel (only exception is Drive). I like the lenti artwork, but it's basically the same as the artwork on the steel, plus all my Kimchi editions so far are the full slips and I want to keep that trend going. I don't think I've seen one positive thing said about the full slip artwork, so I'm surprised they're sticking with it... I would've personally preferred it if they delayed the release and improved the art, or at least revealed the artwork sooner so they could've gotten feedback quicker. Oh well... you win some, you lose some.

I watched this for the first time last night. It was good, but not great. Probably give it around a 6.5/10. Not worth the special super duper kimchidvd treatment IMO, but I can see why they did it.
Movies with Jim Carrey that I'd rate above this: (personal opinion, based on how much I enjoyed them and would watch again)
- Dumb and Dumber (theatrical cut)
- The Truman Show
- Lemony Snicket's

... and BATMAN FOREVER... ok, that one was a joke...

I love this film but is it just me or could they have done a bit more with the artwork of this, it feels a little uninspired and flat, maybe it will look better in person.

If I was loaded with disposable cash, I would've went for the tri-pack and then sold two out of the three SteelBooks inside of it since the film is a favourite of mine. Sadly, that's not the case, though. Like you said, the lenticular is nice, but it's the same image as on the SteelBook. I actually like the full slip art, but the execution is all wrong. The Clementine bottle on the front is sideways, so the water is dripping to the side instead of downward. They should've either laid the bottle horizontally along the bottom of the cover or they should've printed the title sideways so you could display it horizontally. Still, the image is unique and faithful to the film, so that's pretty cool... the designer was just not paying attention when creating it. I'm sure my brother the graphic designer will be annoyed when he eventually comes over and sees my copy of the full slip, too.
