Lenticular Ordered! :joy:

I remember ages ago when they asked if they could possibly use one of my concepts for it... haha, I think i was a kid then. Finally its available to buy! Glad to finally have this as a real steelbook (even if it looks nothing like my design, which is just fine by me).
@kaw
Liked yours better!! (Oh well....)

checked the link by pure chance (at work on a night shift at present...same as when Frozen went live....hmmm...) and saw it was available - assuming it went live at 1am UK time?

also, how/where can we see the number of available steels - someone mentioned 300 for the triple pack but I cant see any amount for either version...(unless am being blind)

either way, am in for the lenti x1 :)

Wanted the tri-pack (for the outer box) but nodded off and have missed it. Bit frustrating.
Nevermind, full slip and lenti ordered

I guess I'm still missing the point? How do customs charges work? I paid with paypal and didn't do anything with the invoice option. I never have.

Here in Canada, whenever you purchase anything online overseas, the value of the item you purchased must be declared on the invoice outside your package. Technically, anything over $20CAD, you should be charged tax for that item, plus whatever fees (I think $5 or $10). So, for example, for the tri-pack, if Kimchi just marks the package the item value, $106.99, Customs here will say that is worth around $130CAD, so I will be billed around $17 (taxes) + $10 (customs processing fee) before I can pick up the package.

A way to get around it would be to declare the item as "Gift" and put in a low value, like $20, so when Customs sees that on the invoice on the box, then your package gets delivered to you without you having to pay extra. (I am actually unsure as to the difference between marking an order as Gift and Merchandise, as I think the $20 threshold before getting charged tax is the same for both.)

I am assuming buyers from the UK are facing sort of same issues when ordering online.

For the US customs charges are almost never an issue- I have always just left send original invoice (the default option) and never had any charges or issues. For the UK, Germany, and many other countries they would be hit with customs fees and handling charges if the actual value is included on the package which is why the options exist.

Just could not get over the fact that as nice as the lenti is, you take out the steelbook and it is the same artwork
you have to look at. Went with the 1/4 slip.
But why would you take the lenti-slip off?
Least the lenti allows alternative artwork if you do want to remove it.

pretty as the 1/4 slips are I dont see much point in them IMO

Non-commercial items imported into the U.S. usually don't require duty until they reach a value of $2500.00 and above.

Got the Lenti. Wanted the Tri Pack, but my wallet is happy I missed it. I spent too much on Amelie last year on the the Tri Pack and 2 of the Lenti's then I bought 2 versions of the Pianist. My head was in the USA. I was thinking it would be like Iron Man and I'd have to set my alarm. Didn't even think it might be Wednesday night here.

Me2 I remembered this morning but not on time wanted the Triplepack, But got all 3 just in time before the full slip sold out. I wonder why they made so many more Lentis compared to 1/4 and Full Slips, thoughts? There all going to sell out and I find the lenti the least desirable of the 3. But always can change once in hand I suppose.
