Sent an email to Tony (on the day of pre-orders going live) explaining that I missed out on the Full Slip version and wondered if there was any way that I could still get hold of a one instead on the Lenti that I ordered...

It's nice to see Tony responding to e-mails as he has been in for some stick just recently (from myself included) for not responding to e-mails and leaving people in limbo about their orders. That's a great outcome for you mate I'm chuffed for you.

I took the approach that "if you don't ask, you don't get!". I honestly wasn't holding out any hope of a change being possible and I know he's been busy dealing with a lot of other stuff recently.

Not necessarily. There have been many Asian releases where the print run is under 3k, so it depends on the studio arrangement with Scanavo it seems.

But in this instance I would think that some domestic standard editions could appear (like with Amelie)

cancelling mine too. i have bought no steels this year so far either.

how long does it take for the cancellation request to go through? does the money go straight back into your bank?

I am amazed that the full slip sold out pretty quickly yet the lenticular slip is still available after all this time. The lenticular slip is the better of the two by a distance in my opinion and it has a smaller print run.

I fully expected the lenticular to sell out first too... thought the full slip would be the last to go.
