I cancelled because I didn't really like the film, and I don't get steels for films I don't like no matter how good they look. At the time of ordering I hadn't seen it but I'd pre-ordered just in case.

Also I'm not into scalping, it's a lot of bother for a tiny profit, and I'd rather give someone who wants it the opportunity without making them pay an inflated price. I thought you guys would just be glad of the opportunity for more zavvi stock...

Want want want want want - Garland is another nice addition to the talented stock of British directors - would love to see him have a crack at directing his own book "The Beach" although he does seem to ape Danny Boyles style a little. This was a beautiful film though and very well crafted.

Are you sure ?, I only ask because you mentioned in a previous post your order amount in Euros, not £.. also you can click the flag icons in the top right corner to change country/currency and it takes you to that countries site.... it doesn't stay with zavvi.com, it changes to zavvi.nl, .de etc...

Having said that, the link in the OP does take you to the Steelbook version, not DVD, so this is all a bit weird you being shipped the DVD..

I still have a single order for this, and I have not been charged yet..

Knowing Zavvi, they probably have actually sent you the DVD and charged the Steelbook price for it. Then when it arrives and you tell them it's wrong, they'll want you to send back the DVD before they refund/replace it.

Zavvi are way too inconsistent with despatch dates. my 2001 A Space Odyssey steelbook arrived 3 days before the release date, as did my Incredibles steelbook, however, my Big Hero 6 steelbook still hasn't arrived 2 days after the release date and there is no sign of Ex Machina nearing despatch. No doubt this won't arrive until after the release date either.
A bit crap, really.....................

I don't know what zavvi has sent you, it should be more text than ex_machina and since they all have the same release date its hard to guess what they have sent...
