FYI-There's something amiss on the BB site right now. Could just be a wrong thumbnail, but FYI. After I saw the previous post about the wrong pic showing for a pre-order, I looked. It seems that the F&F pic does appear for the Pirates Pre-order. However, when you click that link it takes you Pirates Case and pic.

If you search for Pirates movie, you see a different listing that has the free case pictured, but says $19.99 as price.

If anyone has any of these pre-ordered, you may want to verify that you'll receive the correct item.

Pic attached, but I also sent a quick e-mail to BB, to see if they can fix this. There's not usually quick to respond for any errors, but if you have any open orders, you may want to call and check so you receive the correct item.

Guys, this is in fact G1. It does have some nice effects to it. Each spot where metal is shown on the characters, it has like a bling to it. raised paint effect.

if the confirmation is coming from illustrations of the steelbook,then the futureshop release is also G1 if it hasn't been confirmed yet.the disc holders inside the steelbook clearly indicates its a G1 steelbook as well.this was a similar confirmation with the "adjustment bureau" from japan which has the exact same proportions of the disc holders inside.

thats good to know.but the illustration for the canadian version would have me guess they are both going to be identical steelbooks.the way the disc holder on the bottom is a dead giveaway its a G1 steel because of how much it overlaps the one above.all you have to do is grab a 2 disc G1 and G2 steelbook which some of us have and the evidence is right in your hands.this was the same case with the adjustment bureau from japan.i dont remember what number post it was in that thread but it was also pointed out about the disc holders inside.

As this is g1 in size and region free, I would guess the demand would be lower.
The cover looks like the netherland release, I've ordered a copy from Bert see if it's g1 or g2.
