Can you name one premium retailer that re-relisted an item at a higher price than original? Coz I'm struggling to think of one.....

I was referring to OOS items. Oh.. can you name one Premium retailer reducing the price or offering discounts lol? Oh.. wait a minute, they are premium so they need not right? Maybe not...:naughty:

Premium product may necessarily not translate to a high value product in the secondary market these days unless they are produced in very limited quantities.

Knowing Zavvis old tricks, they're probably just going to put back up the rest of the print run!

Pretending it's 'in demand'. :p

Since when did Zavvi care about scalpers?

They did it themselves when they put back up extra copies of It and The Burning at higher prices than originally.
Stephen King IT was same price £15.99 when it came back in stock on Saturday they did not have a higher price it was the same price as before

The RRP price of the Burning was £24.99 that is what amazon sold it for when they put cancellation stock back on their system
Pre Order price is different to after release date price with most releases it goes up and down regularly with a lot of retailers

Have Scanavo dropped their minimum of 4K for Steelbook orders? Or was that a myth?

That news about a 4k minimum print run with Scanavo was from 2009. I'm sure they update that every year and it is far different in 2016.

Besides, it is all just money and negotiable. If you are willing to pay more, they will print as many or as few as you want.

Anybody got any idea when this will come back up? How can i sign up for text alerts for this, if possible?

Difficult to say when it will return in stock but i assume closer to the time of release. Subscribe to this thread to receive updates and be alerted when it goes live again.

Click on the "Watch Thread" sign on the top right.

Do not rely on text alerts or email notifications from Zavvi. You just need to be here an hour before pre-order date or keep checking the site regularly when it comes back in stock which can be a pain.

If you're in the UK you can get text alerts directly from Zavvi to your phone.

Not sure if you get them 2 hrs after its sold out again though!!! :p

Yeah, thats right. My concern is that they pull another "Stephen King's IT steelbook" trick, and just put it up for pre-order at a random date/time without the initial pre-order date live time info. I got that one by sheer LUCK.

The other thing is that the window of opportunity on this one will be tiny - if they stick to a 1000 print run. Should be fun!!

I have that "special" alert setting with eBay email. It alerts me that I have missed out, and to come and look at what I missed....

I see 4 of these have already sold on ebay for £49.99, that can't be right
Not right . . . unless eBay have changed their rules recently.
As far as I'm aware you cannot list your item if it can't be delivered to the buyer within 30 days of the day of the sale and with a release date of Boxing Day that's clearly not going to happen.
