Blufans release two kinds of effect images because it has not been decided that whether the lenti should come with the title(basically, it's "just image" vs "image+English title"

Blufans just threw a haymaker at Kimchi! It appears to me that they see Kimchi as their biggest competition and they are trying to step their game up. I feel that the full Lenti on slip was Kimchi's M.O. and Blufans takes it and supersizes it lol (double full lenti). I like it

love the the steelbook looks like ice, choice A and Full Lenticular I actually prefer with Title, the one like kimchi on top of the mountain... it looks so much more slick than with the one with the ice melting and the animals, don't like those 2

From a source who got the info from blufans, it appears that this is the final choices for both Lenticular, they are wondering wether to put the title or not on the Lenticular but those are the final artwork it seems

either with or without the title on the lenti, Blufans will put an extra sleeve (more like a 1/4 slip around the steelbook) to show the title and other info

I'm still annoyed Disney went against the poll and the front lenti art ended up being the same as kimchi...

Maybe I should be happy that I got the kimchi and won't need to go through the faff of trying to get this? Lol

Those are prizes, not gifts for preordering. I'm guessing there will be a lucky draw. Blufans regularly do prize draws for their releases. The best are giving out HotToys prizes

Apparently the only reason they are using Taobao is because the payment system on their own website has problems. They have just resorted to using Taobao for payment purposes. This should have nothing to do with allowing non-Chinese citizens to buy from them, and this shouldn't be the way they will setup the international website. When you place an order you have to enter your Blufans ID during the checkout. I guess this is to prevent a normal Taobao user to accidentally place an order. However, I'm not sure if they will cancel any orders that are not placed by a Blufans member.

In addition, setting up a Taobao account is practically impossible for non-Chinese citizens. It involves having identity numbers/china address/china bank account. There are ways around it but more trouble than its worth. There is a cut down Taobao for HK/Macau citizens, but even that is hard to set up.

Glad you realised it is Disney that chooses the artwork. It being the same as Kimchi is probably no coincidence. And the artwork is the same that is used in all adverts and promotions. Nothing new. It is not Blufans copying Kimchi.
