Not to mention the fact the the U.E. is the first ever double lenticular. ;) These will be highly sought after and I consider myself lucky to have nabbed the Olaf and U.E. The U.E. will remain sealed, but I plan to open my Olaf so I can appreciate the WEA steel. :)

what I'm wondering about is that if Anna is on the back cover, is she the one getting written all over it... the number serie, the description... I don't know how they would do it but if they would do some sort of insert to provide all that info, myself keeping it sealed how will we know the number serie ? ... I'm all for getting a flawless unwritten Anna on the back cover of the ultimate, but I still want the blufans info that I love so much.

I really hope the limited numbering is somewhere on the outside, like usual. They do have the option to print it on the bottom of the slipcover. That's what Plain Archive does.

I couldn't say for sure buddy, but it's definitely a steel worth owning. I too would like the Anna version if in fact it's going to be released, but if not, then I'm more than happy with what I was lucky enough to secure.

I feel the same way, we have to get what we can get...but it would be such a shame, it is so nice....

that would be an option, but I so love the blufans writing on the back all in chinese with all the specs etc... that is the feel of blufans, I feel but getting a naked copy with simply the numbering at the bottow would be ideal if they keep Anna in Disney JAIL !!!

That had never crossed my mind, it's a bit of a conundrum of where to show the specs.
I would think the lenticular will be text free, they might just have a paper slip under the cellophane covering Anna.

that's where it's confusing, I agree Anna should be like Ella front cover free of text but they know that most of us don't open the steels, so they can't hide the specs etc of the blufans releases... but i guess they will find a way...Anna seems to still be in Disney Jail so ...

More people than you realize open their steels buddy.

Don't feel sorry for Anna because she received more attention than Elsa did in the movie and was lucky enough to have two love interests while Elsa was locked up in solitude half of her life.
;) :D

I got on both lists! I love this movie so I'm willing to spend the extra money on it. I actually liked it better than Tangled a little bit. Still can't picture what it's gonna be like with both sides of UE being lenticular though. But just the thought of it really has me thinking this will be very special.

OMG you're giving me the whole plot of the movie, I haven't sen it yet :tear:

My bad. I thought you'd watched it considering how in love you are with this steel. :emb:

Blufans said all the specs and the writing would be on a separate piece so not on the steelbook or the slipcover itself :)

That it great news, the steel will look beautiful this way, but what about the collectors who will not open their copies, how are we gonna find out which numbered copy we have o_0

Also, do you know anything about the ANNA situation, Will she be released or they are keeping her in Disney Jail ? hehe nah jk but d'you know if they will release it ? They have to it's the most beautiful one :(

I'm under the impression that the piece with all the specs would be similar to a paper 1/4 slip that is detached to and wraps outside the steelbook? And looking at past releases like MU, the number seems to be simply on a sticker on the outer packaging - but perhaps someone who's got one in hand could clarify.

Blufans never said they won't release the Anna version, but that preorders for this was put on hold due to "special circumstances". Like someone else said, if Elsa was okay (though its print run seems unusually low - only 80 were available for preorders via taobao and none for GB) I'm not sure why Anna would have a problem. Can't be because of the freebies as all Anna stuff is included with the UE, which had no issues being put up for orders, so must be something to do with the steelbook itself. Idk, does Scanavo (who will be responsible making the SBs) have a limit on the max print run they'll take? (Doesn't seem to make sense to me but I'm out of ideas.) if so, they might have put Anna on hold in favour of the other versions, which might have been projected to be more popular with buyers?

Anyway no point for me to make conjectures here :p there's really nothing we can do right now but to sit tight and wait for more info from blufans :)

Just flip the UE over - am I missing something,or is the Anna version the exact same Steelbook, slip & goodies as the UE except with the UE you get Elsa on the other side of the slip with added Elsa art cards etc. Just keep the Anna side faced up & you have your Anna edition :oohyeah:

But the paper slip with all the specs might cover the entire back. So if it's the UE, Anna might be entirely buried under that piece of paper...

Will these be individually numbered, given that Blufans have not disclosed the print run size for this release?

They never specified exactly how will these be numbered. But let's see - they said that copies sent will be numbered based on the time of order, and first-day preorders will be guaranteed a number within the first 600; on the first day, a total of 150 Olaf, 60 Elsa, and 620 UE were up for preorders. So my guess, the numbers will be according to the version ie. theoretically you could have 1/whatever Olaf AND 1/whatever UE at the same time. They could, I guess, only put down your number and leave out the number of total print run, but personally I don't mind either way.
