But let's see - they said that copies sent will be numbered based on the time of order

I hadn't seen this... fair play. Given that I was number 50ish in the 2nd GB for Olaf, and number 90ish on the 2nd GB for the UE, I will not be expecting low numbers haha.

I got mine, I'm happy no matter what number they are or aren't.

But the paper slip with all the specs might cover the entire back. So if it's the UE, Anna might be entirely buried under that piece of paper...

I honestly don't think BluFans would come up with such a beautiful steel, only to stick a scep peice of paper over it - it's idiotic & the chances of them Doing that are uber slim.. They will probably just include a slip of paper inside the Steelbook, or tuck it underneath the lenticular. If worst comes to worse, just switch the paper to the Elsa side :oohyeah:

Okay, let's have a look at how many were up for sale in total.

Taobao preorders:
- First day (three sessions): 150 Olaf, 60 Elsa, 620 UE
- Second day (one session): 50 Olaf, 20 Elsa, 200 UE
- Third day(one session): 12 Olaf, no Elsa, 38 UE

GB:
- First round: 75 Olaf, no Elsa, 200 UE
- Second round: 75 Olaf, no Elsa, 150 UE

Total of 1650 copies all up.

Does this print run seem to be the usual for SBs?

It looks to me that blufans may have the total print run determined, but they adjusted the number available for each version along the way, according to the preorders coming in throughout the days. Originally they were only gonna put up 100 UEs in each of the three sessions on the first day, then changed that to 120, and after the morning session, adjusted to 200, and after the afternoon session, again adjusted to 300.

Again, my theory only :p

Oh that's what they said on blufans...not sure how our numbers would play out given that we were in the GBs, but in all honesty I don't care as long as I get that beauty in my hands :D

I took the exact words from Abu to mean that it could be covering the entire back (the word "back" was in there somewhere). I love both sisters (and what the heck, will definitely be opening my UE :p) so won't be a problem for me, but if someone wasn't gonna open theirs, they might be stuck with Elsa on display :emb:

Personally I would just like a copy of the actual steelbook.
I always liked this design and it was the one I voted for, I can take or leave the cardboard covers with or without lenticulars.
I missed out over on the "dark side" and I have no intention of paying stupid money on e-bay so it looks like it's going to be another one added to the list of want but not at any price.

I hope they sell the Anna version and more copies of the Elsa version. Makes me wonder why the wait since they sold the UE edition which seems to be an adjoining of the Anna and Elsa edition. If they didn't open the preorder for the Elsa edition I would've hopped for different steelbook art for the anna and elsa editions (hopefully even more amazing)

Okay folks, where have you been able to secure copies of this steel ?
Are more trains leaving ? Want this one bad

I think the Olaf and UE are sold out. BF over sold so I think chances for getting those are low at a reasonable price. Only ebay remains for those. The Elsa sold very low numbers and the Anna version wasn't even offered. So there might be a chance that those get offered.

I'm glad I got in the group buy for the UE. I can't believe the value Kimchi steels of this are going for and this should be better with the double lenticular and WEA.

Just flip the UE over - am I missing something,or is the Anna version the exact same Steelbook, slip & goodies as the UE except with the UE you get Elsa on the other side of the slip with added Elsa art cards etc. Just keep the Anna side faced up & you have your Anna edition :oohyeah:

it's because with the Anna version, as The Ella Version, on the back cover you get ALL the full specs, the descriptions, the numbered copy, the Disney Sticker(the Mickey one) so you get either Anna or Ella in the Front Lenticular nd the usual, a big part of what we love about the blufans is that whole chines Full wriiten in the back and all the info... with the Ultimate edition, we might get Anna and flip it to see Ella, but since lots of us keep them sealed we won't have the back cover which is the info part in Chinese.

I'm under the impression that the piece with all the specs would be similar to a paper 1/4 slip that is detached to and wraps outside the steelbook? And looking at past releases like MU, the number seems to be simply on a sticker on the outer packaging - but perhaps someone who's got one in hand could clarify.

Blufans never said they won't release the Anna version, but that preorders for this was put on hold due to "special circumstances". Like someone else said, if Elsa was okay (though its print run seems unusually low - only 80 were available for preorders via taobao and none for GB) I'm not sure why Anna would have a problem. Can't be because of the freebies as all Anna stuff is included with the UE, which had no issues being put up for orders, so must be something to do with the steelbook itself. Idk, does Scanavo (who will be responsible making the SBs) have a limit on the max print run they'll take? (Doesn't seem to make sense to me but I'm out of ideas.) if so, they might have put Anna on hold in favour of the other versions, which might have been projected to be more popular with buyers?

Anyway no point for me to make conjectures here :p there's really nothing we can do right now but to sit tight and wait for more info from blufans :)

at this point I guess you're right we'll have to wait to get confirmed info as opposed to speculating and see what happens, we'll get the info it's a big issue and Blufans certainly knows it, I'm sure they have heard us, if not others on that Anna matter. but thanks :)

I could be wrong but I'm guessing the issue with Anna and Elsa versions is due to Disney restricted permission about licensing artwork and all.

I don't think Scanavo would have a limit on print run, if there is something holding back the other 2 I'm pretty sure the problem is with Disney's licensing.

Abu from blufans definitely said the specs won't be on the actual steelbook, and that the back of Elsa/Anna versions would be "clean" of these, so rest assured haha :p

Did anyone think that at the time these were the least interesting maybe one has been dropped? Purely due to the interest of the others maybe the print run was raised on those to cover

well if Anna doesn't get released at least we'll have a clean nice cover of her on the ultimate... but I doubt that Disney and Blufans would actually at this point pass on the release of Anna, it's not because she didn't get a pre release that she will not get out there. that it what I believe, but any blufans forum fellows of mine please correct me or give more info you are welcomed my friends :)

Maybe they ran into issues with Anna Edition, and then just decided to push back into their international store launches. Or it might be that at all haha
