Personally I don't think it's greedy at all. While we do have a community here that helps each other out, ultimately steelbook collecting is a selfish past time. For many collectors owning versions other people don't or couldn't get is part of the thrill and fun. I like the fact I own versions that are rare that some of my personal friends don't have and I know they think the same.

If someone wants each version of this then to for it. :D

i guess its down to what people want-some hdn members have every copy of Drive-some have multiples of Iron Man-personally paying out for one copy is enough for me-I have nightmares about my landlady finding my skeleton under a massive pile of steelbooks:hilarious:

I don't see a problem with someone trying to get all four versions. Everybody collects for different reasons after all. I can see the appeal of having the full set of very hard to acquire Frozen steels.

I have a UE and Olaf lined up and am considering trying for an Anna.

The Olaf edition is actually going to be a birthday gift for a friend (and no, that friend isn't located on eBay :p). She loves the movie, Olaf was her favorite character, and she's gotten into a kick of collecting different releases of it. So she'll be getting Olaf + an extra copy of the Korea 2D slip I picked up, assuming BluFans isn't a year late on getting these released.

The UE is for me and will be opened EEK! :naughty:. It's the edition I wanted the most when it was announced and I'm thrilled I didn't miss out.

Anna is the one I've been debating. I'd kind of like to have a sealed copy and being able to display both lentis at the same time is appealing. I have until tomorrow to decide if I really want to spend that much on one steelbook release, and I am feeling a little guilty at the idea of getting three copies while someone else might get none. :dunno:

Lol, she'll flog them all on eBay!

I'm the same, some films I have different versions of but most I'm happy with one, certainly won't begrudge a collector for wanting them all. End of the day it's their money and collection.

Zyrin, I briefly thought about getting the Anna version too. That way I could display it beside my UE, but I ultimately decided against it due to the number of releases that are coming out over the next couple of months. I have to sacrifice Anna for the better good. Lol!

Man just hoping to grab one version of these. Very doubtful from what I've been told about the group buys for Olaf and the UE though!

can some one tell me where the group buy is been offered? thought the whole time it will be available here on HDN, now im confused and scared :ohno:

Didn't you read the statement in red on top in the OP. No point in searching anywhere now as all copies now long gone.

4/4 on the Blufans Frozen GB!!!!!!! Bagged myself Anna & Elsa on BD.com today.

Me too.

Got plenty of unwarranted stick from disgruntled members though for merely posting (and providing info) that the 1st group buy started a few seconds early. Nonsensical really, and immature. I understand you're disappointed, but I'm not your problem. ;)

Ok, i got Anna.. Ill prob want to trade it for the Elsa ver or something unless one would suddenly drop on my lap
