Apparently ours does have spot gloss and a debossed title. Mentioned it in the US thread the other day.

Shame because the full gloss looks great so I hope ours looks good too

Not sure then. On steelbook.com it says spot glossing and debossing for Europe and Asia. I know they have been wrong before but I'm hoping this is right. full matte will ruin it

U.S. full gloss one does look the shizzle but the steelbook doesn't include the 3D, otherwise I'd have gone for that......

Yup, looking at the unboxing looks quite matte to me too though the 'bossing front and back is evident.
Can't spot the spot gloss which doesn't mean it ain't there (lol).

Locations for this particular steelbook are listed as "China, South Korea, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Nordics, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom" . . . but if the 3D disc is required only option I can see is the U.K. ("Sold out" atm), S. Korea and the Czech Republic.

Anyway, up close and personal with this early bird from Spain with nice electronic music to accompany the unboxing:-


Got nothing on The Americas edition . . . dull by comparison.
De-bossed title . . . and de-bossed triangle especially nice tho.

Also included in one of the French steels is a golden ticket with a chance to win a WETA statuette of (Major) ScarJo

The title is debossed.

Held the Scandinavian release in my hand today, but sent it back unopened for replacement due to shipping damage.

Hmm it doesn´t look so bad after all, the red looks more like wine and I still prefer nice and shiny full gloss US, but I will probably get the europian one as well.

Can't say. No blindingly obvious spot glossing was visible through the plastic.

Passengers was supposed to be spot glossed but ended up with a debossed title instead. It doesn't look like spot gloss on that video.

As long as it's it's a nice Zero finish I don't mind either way.

Don't get why the US gets different finishes on the same steels and we get snubbed a lot like Logan and there was something else recently. Sick of it
