Don't get why the US gets different finishes on the same steels and we get snubbed a lot like Logan and there was something else recently. Sick of it

Should of been full gloss with debossing

I've never emailed steelbook.com but if this arrives with no form of gloss I'm sending them a long insulting email on how finishes should be worded on their site correctly and considering they create these they should know what they are f*cking talking about. It's false advertisement

From that, I'd imagined the front being flat with spot gloss on Major, and the back would be completely matte but with debossing.

Looks matte all-round (except the title, perhaps?), with a debossed title and triangle on back. I thought they might surprise us and spot gloss the white elements front and back, but it looks like they've surprised us in an...umm...different way.

If that's the case, I'm glad I was able to sneak my cancellation in with Zavvi the other day. Figured I'd grab this steel when the FAC version drops, but not so certain now.

Yeah when i read that a few weeks ago on the steelbook site I was hoping for either all white parts being spot glossed or the 3 main characters

If the incredible thin title is spot glossed then it's pathetic and a ridiculous use of gloss. Sometimes I just don't understand what these retarded people are thinking when they finalise designs and finishes.

Cancelling my order. I love the US 4K steelbook I have. I wanted the 3D version, but I'll just buy the 3d version by itself. I don't need a second steelbook if the quality on the UK version is so low.

Seeing the live pics of this steel makes me facepalm and rethink my decision to get the FAC

I just bought the amaray thinking I didn't need to get the US steel but now I'm rethinking that

I guess it all comes down to whether I need the glossy version or if the debossing will be enough; though, FA surprised us all when their mockup for Beauty and the Beast's steelbook turned out to be the real thing and they got the version with the title

Really it depends! Like the awesome Deadpool! The Best Buy looks really bad compared to the European one! I really was hopping for something like that on this one but now we seen the results......

I think 99% of the time gloss looks better myself. I always prefer the way the colours pop with a gloss finish.
