Time for ToC to move on to v3.0 with magnet latches and Russian doll metaphors, boxes within boxes...
Wow, I can’t believe that people spent £100 for that supreme edition. Very cheap and tacky, and don’t get me started on the tab to open and close. It would have been good to put a magnet, at least, on the supreme edition, even embossing on the metal poster. Huge disappointment. I’ve just shoved a 4k disc in my hdzeta copy. It’s loads nicer than this.
Sorry (well, not sorry TBH) to everyone bumping this thread, but this feels like an eternity since last release (6-months ago) and the end of the line - is it though? Any information as to what is next?

I forgot all about them, to be honest, with so many other releases from Warner/Universal, Blufans and MantaLab.
But, yeah, seriously, where's all their releases in this 'all new redesigned' packaging they so pompously announced?

Gladiator was listed as next release #20 and Casino to be #21
Plans for what #21 will be might have changed though since then.

Amazon UK even had a listing for it but was removed a few months later.
Wouldn't surprise me if they are changing it again. While the new case was a huge step up, I still feel a magnetic clasp would be better. I also didn't like the 2 totally different editions. I would much prefer a tiered approach like everythingblu do. I'd happily drop more on a more expensive version, but spending like 150 quid on 2 totally different ones was stupid imo.

Yeah. It's run by scanavo, so it's kinda hard for them not to be "in" the business, when they "own" the steelbook business lol
They promised more releases after Gladiator, and been dead for almost a year...
I thought that company was long closed, until I went to look for this logo just now...
That would be cool then, as it's under MGM, which is under Amazon afaik, so more physical releases from them would either way be welcome.
