I'm actually in the GB for a 1/4 slip, not sure if it's allowed but was trying for another one for my mate who's had a bad year and lost 2 jobs. Not using a sob story, just trying to cheer some-one up who has a run of bad luck. If I can then "yeah", if not then it's no problem.

See wxlinkswd's post #1256 (page 63). Due to the manufacturing defect, Scanavo had to redo the print run. The new cases were being shipped from Denmark on the 17th December and are anticipated to arrive in China on the 22nd or 23rd of this month. I wouldn't expect shipping to start until after Christmas.

Because I paid believing it would be delivered within an 'acceptable' timeframe; because I don't like rewarding the 'pay now and we'll deliver when we feel like it' sales model and because - and this may come as a shock to some! - its only a steelbook. Coming up to Christmas there were other things I could have used the money for.

As frustrating as it can be, I've come to expect delays on premium releases and try not to let it bother me any more.

Maybe if someone gave us an update on what's going on and when we are likely to receive the Steelbook's, as they were supposedly meant to arrive in China before Christmas, maybe people wouldn't want to cancel them then?

sorry for the delay everybody,i just asked my boss,he told me the re-print steelbooks still in china costoms,nobody can promise when clearanced,we can only wait at now.

We will have to pay any import duties to the hub then postage from the hub to you, whilst I appreciate your frustration in waiting the postage and other fees still need to be paid and the hub master -@masterblaster has no control of delays so why should he pay the postage?

Addition shipping cost from the hub to the buyer was ALWAYS part of the arrangement, and was stated as such at the outset.
This should not come as a surprise. Furthermore, the idea of expecting a freebie from the GB hosts is absurd, as they have zero control over when the product gets to him.
Keep in mind that without our gracious GB hosts, we would not be fortunate enough to even have a shot at this.
This is very rare and special box set, and even with the hiccups, I am more than willing to be patient.
(Geez, if you order something from Sideshow/Hot Toys, you pay and wait a YEAR! This is a walk in the park!)
Patience is a good thing!
