From HMV help section:

"Pre-order Price Guarantee

If we lower our prices after you've pre-ordered (and we often do), we'll automatically charge you the lowest price when we ship the goods out to you."

...and that's why I didn't cancel my original order. Panic over guys!

Some members have said sometimes you have to call it in, to get the lowest price, after shipping and then waiting a couple of days to get the difference back:( better safe then sorry;)

I just cancelled my pre-order and re-ordered for the lower price.

Raj-unfortunately those discussions can be very speculative. Sometimes Steelbooks that are released worldwide don't become as sought after, than those only released in one country. Sometimes, they do, if they have unique art, are embossed, have inside art, etc. In this case, it looks like every country will have the same cover. Sometimes Steelbooks sell out, then come back into stock...We'll have to wait and see with this one...

they are telling the truth...it was a pretty bad movie. a lot of bad actors in there, bad CGI effects everywhere with the fire explosion, people standing there when a helicopter is about to crash just 20 feet above them, and the list goes on and on LOL... It should have been a HBO special for free.

I thought Green Hornet was one of the worst movie out there, but this Green Lantern is even worse than Green Hornet. It must be something with the "Green" hehehe.

however, buy it because you might like it :)

yeah i have heard others say the film isnt very good but for £14.99 its worth a blind buy

Yeah, I wanted to like this, because I thought it would be fun to see Ryan Reynolds in such a role, too. But the movie got bad press because of its effects VERY early on, and I am not sure that helped. I won't be picking this up from any country, as I was very disappointed with the film, but I do agree, that a simple logo case would have been much nicer...

I agree...they didn't need to put him in the front cover.

Does anyone know who design these cover artwork? Is it steelbook or someone from the studio? I'm serious. There are TOO MANY bad artist out there. I'm not expert, but I can see what looks good and what not... Some of you guys have great eyes and vision of great artwork.

Mayflower-there are, by now 100's of Steelbook releases out there, and many are amazing. Not sure how long you've been collecting SB's, but I am sure favorites will emerge. I think the studio has to approve the final art, and sometimes the same art is used from the Amaray. I am guessing,as with all graphic design work, there are a few versions sent to the decision-makers, and they make a choice. Some covers are definitely better than others, and I think different people have completely different ideas of what constitutes 'awesome' and 'ugly' art. There are vast differences of opinions in our own threads, and elsewhere-see the "Ugliest" Steelbook thread for instance. Many will love the Green Lantern cover, others won't, it's all subjective...
