Got My copy!!!
You always seem to be on whenever a limited releases out of nowhere pops up.
You are always online or extremely lucky, either way I am impressed

I'm not comparing, I'm trying to justify its merits to myself, compared to what I already have and like out of what's offered.
Didn't want to mumble too much, but to explain: I don't like those sketch-cards, I have a nice hardcover booklet in the Ultimate edition, so no real need in the booklet either, don't particularly like slips, especially lenti slips on slips within slips, whatever they decided there.
So all I want is a UHD disc in a steelbook, and those character cards - thus the 'cards not worth it' sentence.
If they stated that they'd release all 8 films like that, I'd allocate $1000 for them, because then I'd know there'd be more cards, more steels like this one, something else I'd probably like. As is, it seems futile.
here just get this one instead, steelbook with the 4k disc, problem solved

To be fair, the steel variant is like $12 more than the amaray. You can buy the exact same zavvi 4k wwa steel on ebay for less than 20quid if you're in the uk. So in reality, that route only costs about a tenner more, and you could always flog the 4k exclusive amaray alone for more than that to cover it

I am in negotiations to obtain the Best Buy 4K steelbook to stick into the amaray case.
My lawyers are talking to the seller's lawyers. Negotiations began to get heated so they
have decided to take a break for lunch.

Yeah, course. The sets are exactly the same, except the one has a steelbook and the pther has an amaray case.
There's some kind of BD missing as well.

So if we take the amaray version we can put a steelbook in ?
Depending on what kind of amaray they use, and how precise/tight their boxes/slips are. Steels are 15mm thick. UK amarays and criterion cases are 14mm. But I think they probably made one set of boxes for everything, don't know why they shorted out on steels, as we know, ordering 1000 costs the same as 3000, unless they're some kind of Chinese knock-off steels, so amaray editions will probably be already a little loose, with room to spare for a steel to fit in.

It will be same size of slip. So no problems swapping in a steel.
A scanavo case "amaray" is exactly the same size as a steelbook
