Thats just lazy art! And i cant understand why they would flip the back art vertically... makes no sense
Thumbs up for a steelbook release of this film, thumbs down for the weird parts of the artwork. Front is simple, could have been better, but okay I guess, I like the back image but not sure why they turned it the other way round, inside art would be great, but why did they put the house in the middle, makes no sense and looks really bad, should have been just those two faces.
Pre-ordered anyway, because I want this film in my collection and if there is nothing better out there by the time this is released I will get it.

Do we actually know this is a Zavvi Exclusive ?, it isn't listed as such, in either zavvis tweet or listing description, but having said that, I can't see any other retailer listing a steelbook version.. worth waiting to see if it pops up elsewhere.
The more I look at this, the more I feel it'd be better without the yellow glow behind it. Emboss the tree & the leaves and ditch the glow & it'd be decent enough!

. It's even more disappointing when a horror steelbook doesn't look very good as there are so few of them.
Yikes, that's one big ass spine title . . . maybe to make up for its absence on the front . . .
At least not another floating house on the front a la CABIN IN THE WOODS . . .
. . . although this artwork sucks both front and back with the house awkwardly placed sideways at a right angle as in "put it standing up cos it doesn't fit horizontally in the size we want" and the blown up family tree is given the honour of the whole front - a motif that only occupies a teeny tiny part of all the poster designs I've seen:-
Not seen the film so if the house is seen like on the steelbook I guess it makes sense and is reason enough to have it like that here.
As for the insides: this ------------------------------------------- better ………….. than …………………………………………………………………………..… this ? I think not:-
