This particular thread is to showcase new and recent additions to your collection and showcasing your entire collection.

In order to allow for smooth scrolling and loading, on multiple types of devices, we're asking our community to work with us to do the following:
1. Please try and resize your pictures prior to posting them as it helps the loading times for you and your fellow collectors.
2. You might want to consider posting your pics in the dedicated media section found HERE where you will be able to take advantage of the amount of filters, resizing, and other features if you use that interface.
3. Please use spoiler tags when posting more than one picture of the same steelbook.
4. If you receive more than one steelbook, please take a group shot, not a picture from every single steel.
5. If you receive more than a single copy of one steel, post pictures of a SINGLE copy please. If they are for a group buy, then those pictures should be posted in the group buy thread and NOT in this thread.
6. If you wish to show multiple steelbooks from different angles, please use spoiler tags.

Note:
This thread is for your last movie SteelBook. If it's another kind please use the proper thread below:

Hello all. Just joined the forum and have been browsing this thread. Some fantastic collections throughout... kinda leaves my piddly little "collection" of 1 steelbook firmly in the shade!! :hilarious:

I only have The Wolfman in steelbook, and only because it looked rather nice and I thought it might be a decent movie... and it was in a 2 for £15 deal in my local HMV store. Turned out to be a rather disappointing film, and steelbook (sadly lacking any internal pics) but I must admit it sparked my interest in steels as they are a thing of beauty... so here I am, hoping to get on the road to some form of collection. ;)

Cheers, Shanester.

Why do I always seem to pick expensive hobbies?? First was Scuba Diving, then (and now still) photography and now it's the setting up of a Home Cinema and steelbooks are entering the fray! My Wife has been very understanding so far... just hope it continues! ;)

Do many on here get multiple copies of steels, so they can keep one mint and sealed and actually watch the other? I can't imagine buying a film and keeping it sealed! EEK!

There's a lot of steels on amazon.de for 9,97 right now .... might be a good start for you.

No, we do crazier stuff like triple/quadruple dipping on same movie. :p

Not many buy the same steel to watch and keep sealed. In cases like that, folks will keep sealed and just buy the cheap plastic one ;p There's a higher resale value for those that are sealed ... so I think many like to keep that option open.

D'oh.. seems obvious now.. why pay premium more than once for the actual film!?! :emb:

Is resale/ trade value vastly higher for sealed steels then... I guess it will be higher as they are virginal steels, but is there a huge difference?

I've been at it for less than a month and I'm closing in on 50 steels. Be careful. It can get out of hand quickly! Haha

And welcome. I've found it's best to make friends from different countries to help source you the steels that you can't get. For that and because most people here you can trust to package steelbooks the right way! Nice and secure

Arrived this morning BIG THANKS to Mr Masterblaster

Gladiator (GER MM EXCL)
Serenity (GER MM Excl)
Expandables extended cut (GER MM Excl)

Sadly I only have the 1 steelbook.. so I guess that it'd also be the last one I bought! ;)

The Wolfman. Not a great film, even worse steelbook with no internal artwork at all... still, nice look and feel and external artwork. :)
