I Am Legend German Blu-ray SteelBook has carried a nice value over the past year in the $100+ range but it seems like its about to be rereleased which could bring its value down.

UPDATE: Yes it was re-released and the extreme value of IAL transferred over to the FutureShop version. This IAL isnt worth much these days and can still be had off of German amazon.

Is the biohazard sticker an actual sticker you can peel off and use or are you guys referring to the inside art behind the disc? I think i got the 1st release but don't remember seeing anything else in the case. There was no FSK logo on the case.

A FSK doesn't say anything. If you copy comes from the Media Markt and not from Amazon.de then you have the first with sticker edition

Not sure you right there bud, I got mine from day one directly from Amazon.de, I make notes of everything I buy, I even have the URL (which is the same as the current one now - the re-release, I guess they simply updated it), I don't think there ever was a Media Markt I Am Legend Steelbook with Biohazard sticker.

1st print came with biohazard sticker, was an amazon.de exclusive. It sold out from amazon.

Before the identical reprint (without sticker) it routinely was fetching over $120.

No 1st release had a FSK rating sticker. Some of the reprints don't either.

Both prints occurred before the fsk law.

true. just make sure it has the the blue circle sticker on it to make sure it's first release. The re-release did not have them.

Well looks like I bought a pretty pricey re release then. I bought it cause of the banner and the location of the logo. But no blue sticker that sucks. Oh well you live and learn.

Maybe there's someone new to steelbook collecting I can take advantage of and offload this to. (just kidding everyone)

On the "rare" thread, when you posted the two next to each other. Was the one on the right a first release? Cause it doesn't have the blue sticker. Hmm.

Both of those came from Media Markt...with different sealed wrap. A small percentage of them included the biohazard, but you won't know until you open them. To be on the safe side, get the one from amazon.de exclusive with the blue sticker. The Media Markt one...you need to find one with their price tag and then you need to open it up and pray it has one LOL.
