It must be that twin thing, lol!

Yeah me too, been trying my best to watch the old classics as well. Some I can get through, some I fall asleep trying and some I end up loving actually. Like the Alien movies... I finally watched the first two which I think are almost a decade older than I am and I actually thought were pretty good. The Indy movies I tried three times, lol, no go and gave up.

^^^ Its all good Burragum... everyone's entitles to there opinion. Appreciate you posting though

NO SORRY MATE..Its not acceptable any more...you are entitled to an opinion YES BUT be CONSTUCTIVE NOT DESTRUCTIVE..MY OPINION still stands..GO ELSEWHERE..

Yes, the new member should have been more constructive regarding his criticism. Though, the same could be said for you.

 I HATE IT when other members (whether new or old) are bashed because they have seniority. I thought here are at HDN we are better than that. I recently joined the Blu-ray forum and got ignored/criticized because I was new, even though I made a valid point.
Thank goodness we have reasonable mods and members here. HDN is my home for anything Blu-ray or Steelbook. We should be more tolerant towards new members, as apsmith (or Wreck) said, "We're are not like other forums where we poke fun of each other".

Its got nothing to do with seniority steel...Its about common courtesy mate.

 I COMPLETELY agree Burragum, though some new members think we are like "other" forums. HDN is a great site and new/veteran members should be courteous towards each other. I'm just saying we should be tolerable to an extent. I realize their are some trouble makers who like to push other members buttons.

Pertaining to what Wreck said earlier
he had seen some pre lim art
if its not the same as the fs steel which was based on the teaser poster for the movie
perhaps its based on the full movie poster
can you imagine that embossed
oh the hysteria

Haha it must be!

I love the Alien films... or at least the first two I do anyway. I enjoy the majority of movies released in the 80s, but most films before that I tend to struggle with. As for Indiana Jones, I probably watched them 30 years too late. Unlike many other people, I missed watching them as a kid, so the nostalgia factor just simply isn't there for me unfortunately. :(

Wow, I wasn't expecting our comments to cause such controversy in here. It makes me sad to see people getting so defensive/angry over other people's opinions. If you love the Indy saga, then good for you! I'm genuinely happy for all the fans that are finally able to get the Indy films in steelbook form. :)

Personally I think it's a terrible movie and it's the only film I've fallen asleep in the cinema whilst watching since I was 5. However, I've gotta order it just to complete the Indy collection as I can't get enough of the previous three. Who knows, it might even grow on me.

That first paragraph is exactly it. Same thing here, watched them 30 years too late. Eh, people will react how they wanna' react, its not like we were ******** on the movies, we were respectfully stating our opinion.

The threads for the Star Wars steelbooks are full of differing opinions on the series, yet to my knowledge, no one has attacked anyone or got bitchy about them in there, so why should it be any different here?

If you don't agree with something, then ignore it and move on... how does our dislike for these particular films affect your love for them? It doesn't! We're not bashing anyone for liking the Indy saga, and so I'd appreciate the same in return.

Although I'm not a fan of Indiana Jones, I'm a fan of steelbooks and enjoy seeing new exclusives and showing my appreciation for the effort Wreck puts in to giving us them. Being a designer, I'm also a big fan of poster art and love seeing what artwork they come up with for steelbooks, which is just one of the reasons I still check out steelbooks for movies I'm not keen on.

That said, I hope we see the final art for this soon, as the others have been really impressive so far!

J,

Do what I do..I put certain folks with difference taste in me, certain remarks, etc on my ignore list. Those folks on my ignore list will not be getting any of my extra copies of rarity.

Sure you were. And unlike some people I meant what I said to you.
