Is anyone else even getting the PayPal checkout option anymore? It's not appearing for me, perhaps they wanted a larger cut for providing them with a checkout service. Something's off here...

The Paypal checkout option disappeared last week sometime I think, not really sure what the deal is with Zavvi/Payal.

@Vaako may
zavvi are a bunch of idiots , why don't they immediately try to use your most succesfully used recent card ???
Maybe they are simply not be able to do this in their system. If Amazon can't authorize you they also can't process the order. They don't run through other cards on your account, but instead ask you to go in and update the payment method so they can try again. I think most retailers likely do this because a certain card is attached to that order. But I can't speak for all retailers' systems of course...this is my guess.

I'm getting payment problems too! What the hell zavvi! I ordered these through Paypal last year when they first went live and they're asking me to "Update my card details"... I had this problem once before and they ended up cancelling my order and then told me to re-order even though it was sold out. Hope this isn't going to repeat.

So I had ordered the 3 indies on my old card, declined. I went into payment options and set one of my current cards as the new favourite. The other 2 indies have come up as payment problem as well. Do I need to delete my current cards of my account and re enter my card details as a new card? Im confussed?
If the new card info shows under your order details now, I'm pretty sure they'll use it for each steel. Were they all separate orders or under one?

Hearing all these payment problems just shows how long we have been waiting as its out lasting credit cards life span haha. Hopefully everybody gets it worked out.

i wasnt meant to sound funny and i feel sorry for you guys who feel stressed in fear to miss out - but i was serious about my feeling that lots of these will be available again.

I didn' t mean it seriously. I have used Tapatalk and got the wrong smiley. Sorry. :notworthy:
I agree with you. When my order will be canceled I'll try to re-order them.

This is what I got after sending a message to Zavvi -
Hello Stuart,

Thank you for getting in touch about the payment problem on order xxxxxx

You can resolve this problem by logging into your account and following the prompts within your order details.

Once payment has been taken successfully, your order will be sent to you. A dispatch confirmation email will be sent informing you of this shipment.

If there is anything else that we can do, then please do not hesitate to get in touch and a member of our team will be happy to help.

Kind regards,

Needless to say I have updated my already valid card details again (and told them so). I've also used the card today to pay for petrol and buy something using Paypal so a little bemused as to why they're causing me difficulties

So you want an UK based retailer to offer super cheap postage and all sort of payment options when sites in the EU and the Americas don't even move a coin to offer similar service? I think they cut the Paypal option as there way too many disputes and the 30 day Paypal policy

I use a paypal debit card. Offers the benefits of paypal disputes with the easiness Zavvi has with credit cards verses paypal. It doesn't cost anything to get the paypal debit card and there are no fees. It just draws from your balance and can't overcharge your balance.
