I see here and there that some are kinda surprised at how popular this is. Beyond rare this or limited ebay that, i think they overlook the fact that IM is simply a great modern comic movie imagining.

Aside from older generation classics like Reeve's Superman or Keaton's Batman, i don't think i can think of a better comic adaptation which not only is reasonably respectful of source material, but also is appealing to the public in general

While i respect Nolan's Batman, i think the impact is blunted somewhat by the relatively recent Burton/Keaton run.

If Nolan was the 1st to make a credible batman movie, I think the impact of his movies would of been much greater.

I no what your sayin yes burtons batman and batman returns are excellent but I think there both on a par with nolans and personally I prefer nolans myself but that's all speculative and people's opinions. But Keaton was excellent, also better than Bale by a good stretch.

And he has the same second name as me lol apart from mine is double e and not ea

Yes i definitely agree with you about Keaton being a better Batman than Bale. I also think Keaton's costume(s) are better also

but i'm really looking forward to seeing how Anne Hathaway handles Catwoman, can she even begin to touch Pfeiffer? I think not, but we'll see

...as i was saying, the reason i think IM SteelBook is mega popular, besides other rare editions and potential value, is that IM is simply one of the best comic book adaptations of modern times

Just an off topic/ on topic reply .... I do like reading about actual discussion to the movies themselves instead of just always the cases in the SB threads. A nice sprinkle of both makes for an entertaining SB thread.

I agree Sabertooth, IM 1 was really gooooood! As much as I wanted to like IM2 as much ... it didnt come nowhere near close. Still a cool movie, but not as good as IM1 ... I think IM3 really needs to kick ass to redeem the series for IM2

lol I still have not seen IM2, but that will change very soon
IM1 is my favorite comic movie i think. Hopefully IM3 does not disappoint, but squeals can sometimes suffer from things not being as fresh.

He's hoping for continuity with the steelbook design when IM3 goes up for pre-order

I think it's good when people on here buy a load, to help our friends in America and other parts of the world, but when people buy a load just to make a profit on Ebay, it's really quite annoying.
