If you're saying that £30-£50 is pocket change you sir earn too much money ;)

I would agree, considering the amount of time this has been available i think the prices are high enough. All the Steelbooks that become very valuable do so over time, usually years. Watchmen FS was worth nothing for around 2 years, people were trying to sell them at cost then suddenly once they started getting hard to find the price shot up. I don't own any Iron Man Steelbooks myself but i would imagine the less of them there are around in the future the higher the value will be.

This steel never really took off. Compared to FS edition its going for pocket change..

It's pocket money when comparing how much Iron Man FS-steelbook is going for.

I think one of the reasons this didn't come as popular is because of how it feels. I think some people have already also said it, this steelbook feels more like plastic than steel.

I personally don't like how they mixed the inner artworks with this one and Iron Man 2.

:jacked:

I was talking about how this is doin re: the collectivity/value of recent UK steelbooks.

- cheaply bringing up FS edition again and again and again in this thread is becoming so boring :ugh:

The Future Shop and Play.com version should not be compared. It is a totally different steelbook in terms of quality and there really is no comparison.

Having said that, this steel is generally doing very well in the market. For £10.99 on release date, it's a great investment in return for what it was purchased for, going for approximately £50 - £60 on bids consistently (guaranteed return), and in this market right now where steels are dropping, this has never actually dropped but remained consistent.

The only bullz up is the inside artwork with IM2 artwork!

It's only a matter of time before this gets another release, and I am sure studio reps are reading these forums everyday and studying ebay auctions and they will see another gap in the market to sell another 5,000 IM's :naughty:

I was really pleased on getting this recently at a good price (if £42 can be called that) on ebay.
Unfortunately this is what has turned up:

Why anyone would send this in just a jiffy bag is beyond me!

Thst might not be too popular but I wouldn't complain!

Private seller unfortunately, I've not had the best experience returning damaged steelbooks before.

Wow thats unbelievable then. A company i would understand slightly as the people in the warehouse probably dont care or have no idea what the things worth. But for a private seller to send that out in a jiffy bag is mind boggling.

I want it too - but not for that price. I am ok with 50 bucks but nearly twice that amount is just ridiculous (in my opinion of course...).

I want it....but not that bad. :p

Its expensive, but imo more than worth it. Your paying for not only the best steelbook released buy play.com and the best steel overall of 2012, u are paying for a genuine rare piece of steelbook history IMO :) Its not too often when a re-release is arguably better than the original, in the view of a significant number of collectors
