The Director approved stickers are on the initial amaray releases if u carefully peel off
I think the jackie Brown steel is one of the best this year.Just bought Canadian Basterds
With the embossed gun on the front & swastika flag on back. A uk Basterds would be good
Is There a Death Proof Steel? Weakest film but would complete my collection.

This is the DeathProof Steel if you wanted to see it, one of my Favourite's

Actually that looks cool will have to hunt this down. Thanks for the picture

got this today,it's very nice indeed. my spine feels a little bit off though,it's not really noticeable but after further inspection it seems like it's in a different position then my other steelbooks. weird, anyone else got this problem?

So where is the yellow Tarantino sticker located at?

that's what i wondered. maybe it was a sticker on the shrink wrap

Boring artwork on the front. Doesn't suit this film. Very reminiscent of the Warner Classic Wave.

all the old blaxploitation films feature hand painted art. foxy brown is tarentino's take on the blaxploitation genre of films. pam grier was a star in that genre, most notably for her role in 'foxy brown'... which this film and her character is an obvious reference too.

so the art is relevant/suitable when you consider the history.

From memory, I'm fairly certain it was on the Pulp Fiction steelbook released by Play.com.
To clarify apart from reservoir dogs & kill bill not all of tarantino's films were released on bluray.
Pulp, J.Brown,F dusk til dawn were all released on the same day and they all had the yellow sticker(Director Approved) on the actual amaray box under the shrink wrap. I think it was mainly to point out that they were new to bluray at the time. I bought them all together on the release day you can peel the stickers off if you're careful & stick on Steelbook which is what the earlier post was saying

I have a few with spines slightly off to one side. I keep meaning to fix them, but it's a pain in the ass, and if you don't do it right you could cause damage. I'll get it done one day though.
