So yeah, I was surprised their was no topic on this one ... it's the holy grail of all things SteelBook. (least, blu-ray steelbook that is.)

Its been sold for $500 and 300 euros just for the empty case alone. Super rare, thought to have been limited to only 2,000 copies.

Did you guys see the bidders though? They looked REALLY shady! One person who bid £1000 had a (0) as feedback! I have a REAL hard time believing this actually sold for that amount. I mean it is totally possible...but I still have a hard time believing it.

It seems highly unlikely that all the bidders were genuine. And the zero feedback bidder looks like it was there to bump the price up, IMO.

One surefire way to find out is to wait for the feedback. If both buyer and seller left positive feedbacks, then why wouldn't it be for real? Its best to stop speculating, and over analyzing everything. Its not exactly rocket science.

The seller had some holy grail steelbooks there. Looked like a collection clearout. T2 Japan 1.0 went for £775.
