Would you guys happen to know if the transfers are any different than the Ultimate Trilogy that was released a couple years ago? I want to swap out the discs and put the UT ones in, but if the transfers on the German ones are better then I'll just leave them.

Same discs as far as I know, but I can double-check for you. I have this one and the UK amaray. Hopefully I can get an answer by ~6 hours time (unless someone else can sooner)

Received my trilogy of JP Steelbooks from Amazon today. I must say, these have gone straight into my top ten as some of my favourite all round steelbooks.

It just goes to show that it doesn't have to be an expensive, all fancy bells and whistles edition. Just a good solid all round design and finish. And the price was fantastic.

By the way, I think the German j-cards are much better than Zavvis in the end. At least they have artwork that matches up with the Steelbook covers.....

Is that for the Trilogy? I just bought one for $14 shipped to Texas. You should contact Amazon about a price adjustment if they charged you $38. Unless you paid for expedited shipping?

Totally agree with you. The sheer quality of the trilogy is astounding especially considering the cost. Bells and whistles are fine but they shouldn't bump the price threefold!

This used to happen periodically with AMZ Fr and De years ago. Usually some issue where carrier can't find address for same reason. Yours may have been diff issue but fyi.

Can't believe i missed these. Just preordered all for 3 for approx. £25 delievered to uk. Love the films and steels look awesome. In this current day its rare to find glossy steels for under £10 each.

Looking at the prices for all three steels combined on Amazon.de inc shipping, i overpayed 200SEK(~15£)....

Don't be angry at yourself. I overpaid so many steels, thus far. Especially those from Zavvi...

Bought them each for 9.90€ and got a movie ticket for part 4 with them for free. And then, they're such quality steelbooks - man, I like them a lot. The transfers however are still the same, only slight negative aspect about them but for that price I can live with that.
