according to the user meinerseits on the german Board there will be an other release of Jurrasic Park Trilogy in Germany. It will be a Media Markt exclusive Steelbook. If that turns out to be true this might be my winner as i guess the german release will be G2

Release date of October 27th, 2011.

Crazy right, assuming the news ends up true ... then the German release date is October 27th. They would obviously want to keep that street date one would think as otherwise a lot of consumers will have already bought other editions.

hmm, yeah your right, its kinda weird that we dont even have cover art yet if the street date is only 10 days away.

My sources are not even aware of this title at MM. So I now extremely doubt this...

However, there is a g2 Jurassic Park trilogy steelbook on the horizon. It's a jumbo. No word on whether that jumbo will be a MM exclusive, so I'm still trying to pin-point what Country but one would think France/Germany since UK got the tin. Its a Europe release I know that ...

G2 jumbo sounds awesome compared to a g1. And, people can actually convert a jumbo into a regular slim-line g2.

I guess a normal G2 with that black cover was just a dream... Well if the art is nice i am fine with a Jumbo but i don't want any silly DVD.s with digital copy....

not quit right, what he did say was that it is Germany and proberbly going to be at MM only. Could though be in other countries and that info he will try to have on Monday.

What he also said was that it is debosseld Jumbo G2 so im sure that will look just great since you can chop it down to a normal G2 sized Steelbook if needed/wanted.

Let me tell you what my source said....

1. Its Definitly in the system - release date the 27. Oct.
2. It is Definitly a G2 Steelbook
3. Its Definitly titled with "MM Exclusive"

I should have this around 1-2 days earlier then the actual release, depends on when my contact calls me.

John, it's fine to discuss any news, etc in the actual Steelbook thread-it's where they really belong, not in group buy threads. We know there's is a lot of excitement about this one,and many other Steelbooks, and sometimes we all get carry away in the chatter. Thanks again for helping to obtain copies for our members
