according to the user meinerseits on the german Board there will be an other release of Jurrasic Park Trilogy in Germany. It will be a Media Markt exclusive Steelbook. If that turns out to be true this might be my winner as i guess the german release will be G2 :scat: EEK!

Release date of October 27th, 2011.

Thanks Urbeen for originally posting a pic from Ebay De.

Note-Media Markt does not ship-please see if there are any open 'Group Buys' in the Steelbook trading area.

Well from what Wreck said in the discussion about this MM might not be getting this steel at all but he said its probably somewhere else in Germany.

I originally thought that since it wasnt marketed, and still hasnt been. All I know is their is a g2 jumbo debossed steelie on the horizon in Germany ... so that news combined with John's (masterblaster) makes me think its safe to assume that the g2 jumbo is in fact the elusive MM exclusive. :)

Cant wait for it!

If a retailer or studio hasnt announced it, many times its hard to get sources to confirm for protective reasons ... my contact was not aware of a MM exclusive and said it wasnt on their site as such. ie. Either its not happening, or they wont say anything for those protective reasons when in actuality it could be very well true. In these cases, store employees who can check the systems like John's friend can actually become very helpful.

French DVD steelbook art ... marketed by same people, Europe .. slight possibility of being artwork ... tho I see no evidence in artwork of debossing.

some remember this art as being for a blu-ray then the item got pulled off of .fr

If this is the final cover, I doubt the 'Erstmals in High-Definition' is actually on the case. Seems like a marketing tagline for the sellsheets and collateral since it's being released for the 1st time in Blu-Ray. Either way, can't wait to get this on the projector-woot woot!

the question is,do you go for the regular G1 size or G2 jumbo steel for this trilogy release

That's a good question actually. G1's feel better in your hand than a G2 jumbo imo. I will always prefer G2 though because I associate G1 with DVD and for me that was like 10 years ago. For that I say jumbo size it :D
