Release date of October 27th, 2011.

Thanks Urbeen for originally posting a pic from Ebay De.

Note-Media Markt does not ship-please see if there are any open 'Group Buys' in the Steelbook trading area.

Anxiously waiting for my package. Big packages must take longer than smaller ones. LOL.

Me too! The wait is killing me :ohno:

Mine shipped out last Monday and arrived yesterday. So it took a full 7 days.
Not sure if mine was shorter or faster than normal but you can use my experience as a guideline. Esp. you Biscuit since you are also in Canada, albeit Quebec and not Ontario.

Taylor, definitely get 1 more post, to contact him. He's a really nice guy and has helped many members here. Good luck! :scat:

^^this exactly!

I was able to get one of the left overs from the group-buy after someone dropped out and it was the easiest process. John is quick to respond and ship. I would def. deal with him again in a group-buy scenario

my first modified spine lol
i just used the stickerbook of "The Extraordinary Adventures of Adele Blanc-Sec" which is a 2 disc holder.the bottom disc holder actually hols 2 disc comfortably.the sticker on the spine came off very easily and i just used an adhesive photo glossy paper to stick the new "Jurassic Park Trilogy" spine.did this a few minutes ago and am satisfied with the results.not really too concerned about the inside art and might just add it on later once i get acclimated with the process which i havent really looked into to.now just waiting for the JP jumbo steel to arrive ;)

So this might sound kind of funny, but, I have never watched the Jurrasic Park movies but I am a pretty big action/adventure movie fan. Not to mention a Spielberg fan as well. Are the movies pretty outdated to watch now?

Im asking because I was thinking of buying this trilogy but I haven't seem them!

TIA!

Just watched these and can say that the movies still hold up for me.

I still haven't seen a CGI-scene more convincing than the scene where the T-Rex is shredding the tires of the jeep with his teeth. :scat:

Thats becuase it wasn't CGI if I remember correctly. This movie used a combo of CGI and animatronics. Sorry to ruin your child hood cgi dreams :p

Still those T-Rex scenes are top notch to this day.

I have no idea what you guys do for a living, but wow, am I the only one in here buying only one copy, opening it and watching it :D

My friend, you are the only SANE one ... and deep down inside, many of us envy you! hehe.

My New Year's resolution is to say no more than 2 max per title unless it's one of the few titles I collect everything of. ;)

Yeah, I said 2 lol. I'm trying to start realistic.

Thanks for the spine Incubali!

Well, here it is .... Taking the metal off the jumbo is the easiest part. Pull from the top or bottom, not the sides ... very easy to get off. Trashing a steelbook, unless you got a denter lying around is the hard part as you will need a plastic tray for the inside. ;) Dealing with the spine is also the hardest, esp if you want art on the inside.

Well, for me I guess it was hard because I didnt use a print shop. I used photo paper for a printer that you can buy at Wal-mart. I printed out the spine and cut out the other art for the inside to match and then super glued them back to back and the already sticky residue left from when I yanked off the spine from the plastic inside was enough to keep it on very well!

Oh and I made a custom JP steelbook display stand. ;) I used the spine (which is a sticker on Jumbos) off the jumbo. :D

ps. I actually like Jumbos though. I own 4.
