If the upcoming Jurassic World is any good, these sets might become even more valuable. Good movies, especially those that are part of a series, tend to renew interest in the original(s). I should know - I don't have Road Warrior or Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome on Blu-ray and after having watched and loved Fury Road, I'm now looking for the best available BD editions of those films to buy. But even if JW flops, it looks like this set from HDzeta will be the only premium version of the original trilogy available on the market. Everyone else is just doing standard WWA steels. Count me in.

The only difference is the SlipBox and embossed slipcases and a loose lenti Card and artcards and a folding booklet

There is nothing wrong with the more economical releases, if that's what you want. You could even save more money buying amaray packaging or nothing at all.

I do purchase premium releases from all over the world
If the steelbooks in this set have of been different I would have considered the box set but the facts are they are same steelbooks as the other countries releases

If anyone want to get this enjoy but in my opinion its not in anyway worth the extra expense for what your getting
It would have been a different matter if the steelbooks themselves were exclusive but they are not


Film Arena yes do have releases with same steelbooks but they include lot more extras and only cost a bit more than the standard release

This release in my opinion the steelbooks itself should of had exclusive artwork and finish that was different to the other releases like the majority of HDzeta releases usually have

I agree with @Marina Blue for once. The average guy on the street probably thinks it is stupid to pay extra for Blu-ray over DVD. The average movie collector probably thinks it is ludicrous to pay extra for a Steelbook edition over an amaray. It is subjective.

I wish everyone would do better. I'm not the least bit interested in 98% of releases.

In my opinion, no one has done the "Jurassic Park" Trilogy better than HDZeta.

I don't know why the steelbooks in this Ultimate Trilogy are not WEA releases. Did HDZeta get lazy? Or did the studio deny a request for WEA artwork? Unfortunately, WEA artwork is the exception in steelbook releases, rather than the rule.

I have all the HDZeta releases and would love for them all to be "true exclusives".

I am thankful some retailers offer choices, Plain, Kimchi, Blu-fans, HDZeta, etc. These retailers are smart businessmen and marketers. And they know their niche and place in the market.

There is a reason the run on this release is in the hundreds rather the thousands.

I really think that when actual photos show up of this release, it will be as stunning as past HDZeta releases! I love the shared, standard WWA steelbooks, themselves! There are many talented photographers on HDN that take and share some of the most amazing photos!!! Like, "earthscope" and many others!!!!

Regardless, I love it and am looking forward to it and any future HDZeta releases!!!!

Is there any chance of getting pics before the GB goes live? I know we usually don't get pics till after but I think it might make a difference to a lot of members on whether or not they are going to try for this one, myself included.

For me it doesn't really matter that these are WWA. I am going to try and get this because it's limited to 300 and is being released by a retailer that I have a lot of time for given what they have released to date.

The fact that the WWA steels are pretty nice looking is a bonus. The extras set it apart from any other Jurassic Park set being released so in that sense it is unique.

As for pricing, it's not that bad in comparison to other Asian releases. And that's mostly where I choose to spend my money on SteelBooks recently based on overall quality and service.

No doubt one or two likely members will have another go at me for have deep pockets or something, but I don't collect for them so surely as long as I am happy spending my money on this release then that is all that matters. I'd even go as far as to say it would be nice if certain people were happier for others regardless of how they collected, but that's their choice at the end of the day.

Good luck to all of you who are trying to get this. I think there will be a bit of time between when the GB goes live and when it sells out to give everyone a decent chance of getting a copy.

This release is still a very nice package and the Steelbooks as we have already seen are amazing looking
The steelbooks themselves are a lot better looking than we all expected in the first place

If others want to spend nearly an extra $89.00 (excluding the steelbooks) on the extras that's fine and is their choice and is their right to do so
How I or others spend their available funds is our right and choice and if I or others want to save money that's also our right
I'm sure there has been releases were I spent a lot on a release some would have wondered why I did
I'm not knocking anyone who wants to get this as the end of the day its still a nice box set with great looking steelbooks
Were we get the steelbooks from is up to the person themselves

Its just for me personally I cant justify spending $89.00 for SlipBox and Slipcase and Lenti Card and artcards and booklet
I have done with other steelbook releases when all the contents in a box set are totally exclusive and even spent more than this box set costs

I know some collect just because its limited to 100 or 300 or 1,000
With me personally never purchase just because its very limited
I purchase box sets or any release just to have in my collection it don't matter to me if its limited to 1 or 150,000 and what numbered edition I get is not an issue along as I get it and is in perfect condition is all that matters

I respect others choice to who want to just purchase only because its a low numbered limited release as that is part of collecting limited editions for some collectors exclusively the reason to purchase

For those who are getting this enjoy your box set and I hope none of you miss out in getting a copy and you will have a very nice box set

I usually do. Until you take a trip to the US and find the Target/Best Buy steelbook you ordered and had delivered to a friend turns out to be a regular blu ray...or the postman pushes a zavvi steelbook through the letter box and its bent and dented...

I reckon once people have posted photos of their HD Zeta Jurassic Park steelbook collection more people will be wishing they'd bought one, especially when the $125 includes shipping.

When I look at my lovely Amazon steelbook set and the $80 + still in my wallet I feel very happy indeed.
BTW the $125 may include shipping but don't include PayPal fees or possible import tax!
